So the degree isn't in flower arranging. More to the point in terms of Barry's post, is that the degree being offered is a one year top up with a very business minded vocational bias...rather the opposite of what he seemed to be suggesting (i.e. a rather fey, unproductive waste of money).

sadly i'm not a floristry expert, having only taken degrees in humanities and english, history, and librarianship. i nearly opted for floristry but history proved to have more allure.
