Rugby World Cup 2023

The long pass for the Bok's try was only about 4 yards forward - even after the two disputable lineout appeals shortly beforehand. Ref had a good game but went to sleep for 5mis there for the Bok's try.

Literally just finished watching the game and yeah, that ball was coming out as he blew up, seemed like a mistake to me.

Anyway, on the strength of those performances you'd have to say it confirmed that those are the two teams to beat. Cracking test match.

Oh yeah we definitely rode our luck last night but that's what teams do, create picture in the refs mind. McCaw was the king of illegality yet was rarely pinged. We got away with a bit, especially when Park tried to neck roll some saffa behemoth at a breakdown.

Still the win is important not least as it's got kiwi fans in a tizzy.

And a :D in the fourth minute.

Kinghorn looking really winded, just trotting back

Absolutely baffling how that Tongan player's yellow wasn't upgraded. It was identical to the others that have been. I hate seeing players sent off but consistency please.

The advantage rule is crass, or maybe its just Wayne Barnes is an idiot, probably both.

The advantage rule in rugby is weird. Why advantage over after about 30 seconds when it's a scrum knock on but usually a penalty advantage can run on and on.

I can't believe the commentator described Barnes as 'probably the best in the world' at the start of the game :D

Eddie is apparently off to coach Japan after the World Cup anyway, leaving a sinking ship to miss out on a lions tour and a home World Cup. Think he’s a busted flush tbh
