However, on BBC Breakfast news at about 6.45am, a very bizarre report about events kept referring to Israeli forces "trying to control" the people they were beating and killing. It took me a while to understand the report. It was an outrageous and sickening example of bias.
I have complained. http://www.bbc.co.uk/complaints/homepage/ If you saw it, I urge you to complain also.
In what other circumstances would storming and aid ship and beating and killing those on board be called "trying to control" them?
i only just saw this on the news this morning. the israeli spokesman was quite outrageous in his defence i felt. a bit like the israeli sds parachuting onto a boat and starting to shoot every fucker really. All I have to say about this is:
Israeli military boarded a ship in international waters using soldiers carrying guns.
That's where it all went wrong. What happened afterwards was merely a consequence of that first action.
Arab Israeli's, Palestinians and Americans. All opposed by pro IDF demonstrators. .
psychopathic IDF scum on the rampage again , 15 unarmed activists dead :

I just had to listen an Israeli "defence spokesman" claiming the activists attacked them with "knives " etc .
Unfucking believable, as so often with Israel . When are we going to start a proper cultural/economic/academic boycott of the rotten bastards ? Nothing will rein them in for a long as their geo-poitical importance remains, so putting pressure on the decent minded Israeli's via a comprehensive boycott is one of the few options we have surely ?
They won't get away with anything. The whole world will know what happened. This is a PR nightmare for Israel & will draw attention to the plight of Gaza.
nuff apologies alreadyagain?
and what good has that done?
(sorry tom, not angry at you personally....)
Like being under fire from Gaza you mean?
And here we go, criticise Israel = anti-semitic. No argument, no right to criticise, no right to demand justice, simply anti-semitic.
I'd hope not, that would be fucking ridiculous.
Obama pays lip service, which is nice, but the truth remains that Israel can do what the fuck they like with no fear of retaliation.
Fuck Israel. Far-right state with a matryr complex.
lots of asian people looking at 12-18 months this time?Just got back from the Israeli embassy. Good turnout for a spontaneous demonstration.
People like you manned the furnaces, or worse still, saw the smoke and asked no questions. Israel is not a fascist stae, it is a democracy, something that is a bit thin on the ground in that part of the world.
Care to explain live fire from an ' unarmed ' convoy?
Doesn't it sadden you that repression of the Jews continues to this day? Rising levels of anti-Semitism across Europe, especially in the Eastern part. People attacked, cemeteries and synagogues defiled. Do you not realise that attitudes such as yours fuels this?
lots of asian people looking at 12-18 months this time?
a quite outrageous one but yes, maybe for another day.well that is another story
So , you think it IS all the Jooz fault after all then ?
You seem to be painting yourself into a corner here.
It has been pointed out several times that demos against the action HAVE been called & you seem to keep missing that.
I don't think you're trying to paint ALL Israelis as "BADDIES", are you ?
' Yawn '. Heard ity all before. ' I'm nnot anti Jewish, I'm anti-Israeli '. Of course, the majority in Israel are Seventh Day Adventists.
Yet the fact remains, there is no opposition right now. None. The Israeli population is behind Netanyahuh. And you can deny that all you want and you can smear my motives for asking why all you want but denying this fact solves nothing.
Perhaps you should consider joining the real world, in the real world, when soldiers are fired upon they defend themselves.
Fuck off Lynch. Anyone who supports murdering scum is completely beyond the pale.
@Dylans :
Is actually what I asked & your response STILL isn't clear.
Surely it is far too early to draw any such inference from that at this stage.
Some more background to Craig Murray's earlier blogpost about the UN Law of the Sea and its relevance to this incident:

edit: now that was well timed
You are a fuckng joke, there is no question, it'sd been shown on film that the IDF and others have a history of opening fire on unarmed men, women and children.
