So, ground conditions are very firm, wouldn't say completely dusty, but it's dusty by yeoman's bridge and other hard standing. Maceo's is ace too, not changed a bit, apart from there seems to be no bedroom rentable per 15 minute interval this year. Paulo is also doing well.

Ah, it's on the radio. I wondered what was going on, because I'd seen no listings for it on television.

According to the Freeview menu, BBC3 is showing Madagascar, followed by Dr Who. Russell Howard and Family Guy fills the rest of the schedule. Weird.

ETA: Okay, I've just realised that I'm a week ahead of myself. Oy!

Hi Gerry1time, I didn't find Maceos last year but I'm arriving onsite tomorrow and heard its behind Block 9 area. Is that right?

Yep, so if you're outside the NYC Downlow with your back to it, turn right, walk along the fence / line of the venue, and the entrance to it is on your right. Any crew wristband gets you in it seems.

Trolley collected so operation overpack can commence as I can just drag it along.

Tent put up to check it. The stag tent is fucked so I'm bringing my smaller Quechua tent. Easy to put up but it's a fucker to take down and can't be done alone. I can see it being crammed in the car as it is or tied to the roof.

Tomorrow I will be doing laundry all day. Yawn.

I need to check I have the right batteries for torches, find lots of socks and I REALLY need to do my tyres. Can someone tag me on Monday to remind me? Better still, can someone come to Poole and do it?

I'm heading down Tuesday morning, I'm hoping I'm not first there from my team as I'd like to camp with someone familiar.

I felt a bit sad today when me and my husband were arguing about the tent in the garden. It's going to be weird without him.

I watched someone put a pop up tent into a fiesta still erect after about three hours of trying to put it down and giving up. That was way back when they weren't so prevalent and nobody understood them

My mother has just emailed me with a tale of getting the bus to Shepton Mallet and walking to Pilton pushing me in the buggy to get to Glastonbury... And I was in washable nappies...

Thing to remember about crew bars is that there's a bar manager who has bought a load of booze and wants it sold by Monday/Tuesday! They're not too choosy about which crew they sell to

Did most of my packing yesterday bar a few odds and ends which I'll be chucking in my hand luggage tomorrow.

Now to check out which pubs to go to in Brizzle (and which ones give CAMRA discounts) on Monday and Tuesday.

Not looking forward to getting the bus at stupid o'clock (5.30 AM!) on Wednesday morning, though - blerk!
