Glastonbury 2014

Hopefully:

a: Metallica and Massive attack aren't on at the same time slot/day
b: I'm not on shift when either of them are on :D

I am currently listening to Master of Puppets in honour of this announcement...

It's been a while - I'm glad to say that my acne has entirely cleared up in the intervening period...

Loving it. I look forward to watching them on telly! \m/

Aargh, I'm getting the fear about what bar/shifts I get. My team were next to the other stage last year which would be madly busy but a good spot.

Worst option would be the one near John Peel I reckon.

Who you working for? I was by The Other stage 3 years ago with WBC it was very busy. Last year I did West Holts for Avalon/Shelter, far more enjoyable. John Peel is furthest from Avalon campsite so I agree on that.

My main worry is whether my knees will hold up. Last year I went with broken ribs, this year tendonitis and off for scans on my knees this week to see about cartledge issues. :(

WBC. I have a dodgy knee too, old beer/mosh pit injury. :(

The main one beside the other stage is Dreamtime but just because you were there last year does not mean you will be there this year - it used to be the same bars each year in the 90's but when they switched to the new system that all went out the window.

Not sure if they have changed the layout but there used to be a back exit that would take you to the backstage compound from the rear of the bar - very handy for getting to the Pyramid quickly.

I thought Metallica were an odd choice at first but if I was going this year I'd be happy. I've only ever seen them once, at Reading, and they were fucking brilliant.

I've been to plenty of festivals, most of that list is pretty universal :p
Reckon?

Seen them twice. First time at Big Day Out they played some decent stuff from before they went all MOR so it was tolerable. Second time at Donington the other year they decided to celebrate 20 years since the rot set in by playing the Black Album. It was shit.

I think the problem was the cover.

Now if they'd have had all you guys being made to smell the glove...

So people - meet up. When's it going to be and who's in. I'm going to get straight in there and suggest 3pm on Thursday at the cider bus. Who's in? It was a small but excellent turn out last year :)
