Problem with them coming to Glaston is that it means Louise Mensch will also be there.
I will try and come. Missed it last year as we weren't given our tickets until 4pm on the ThursdaySo people - meet up. When's it going to be and who's in. I'm going to get straight in there and suggest 3pm on Thursday at the cider bus. Who's in? It was a small but excellent turn out last year
I'll say i'm coming then not make it as usual
C'mon - make a change from the norm
You see 50% of that lot, I'll be bloody impressed.Bah! The music line-up is shaping-up to be really good. It looks like I'm have to go and see some actual bands this year.
So, it's looking like Metallica, Dolly, Robert Plant, Rodrigo Y Gabriela, Pixies, Blondie, Vintage Trouble and Royal Blood as must-sees.
And maybe Jack White, Manics, Haim, Midlake, The Wailers, Plastic Ono Band, Parquet Courts, Jimi Goodwin, Kaiser Chiefs, MGMT, London Grammar, Temples, Dexys, Alison Moyet, Fisherman's Friends, Newton Faulkner, Steve Frost, Gong and Alabama 3.
(The usual disclaimer that I will end up seeing 50% of these due to circumstances within or without my control applies).
Oh, and I'm up for the Board Meet.
Obv you all need to wait until I know my shifts before arranging meet ups
i just had someone tediously going through the lineup and telling me what i should see. i'll be pleased if i see one planned act a dayYou see 50% of that lot, I'll be bloody impressed.
Bollocks to 'em. Go and see what you want to see!i just had someone tediously going through the lineup and telling me what i should see. i'll be pleased if i see one planned act a day
there is a theory that it was a test and they are planning to sell them soonGone, looks like?
An early clashfinder is out , looks like not too many for me , it will take a lot to beat last year , I honestly thought it was the best for years , i know its all subjective but the combination of weather and bands in 2013 really hit the spot .
yeah totally. 'oh there's this totally cool indie band you should see here' *slap*Bollocks to 'em. Go and see what you want to see!
Probably worked on the build-up in some capacity. I've done that a few times, and a couple of weeks is about par for the course. Also last year at the stone circle I was chatting to this guy and I asked 'how long have you been up here?', meaning the Stone Circle, and he said 'i've been here about two weeks'. Was he just really fucked, or could he somehow camp in the area, only moving outside the perimeter when the fence went up? Or somehow hide on the site?
