Glastonbury 2014

A figure of 10,000 has often been put about in the past. My suspicions, based on nothing scientific whatsoever, is that it could be a bit more than this.

I've had insider info that its a mere 87.5 tickets this year. Practically everyone has found the money and been able to book leave.

Do you know how they enforce that?

you have to enter site through the bus station gate, which you can only get to from the bus station. You have to show your ticket before you get on the bus.

Trust me if I didn't think they enforce it I'd go for one.

:D

It's part of the 'green transport' policy that X number of tickets have to have coach travel attached.

ETA X = 15k this year

I've just remembered that the other thing about coach tickets is that you don't get your ticket until you get on the coach.

I'm torn about what to do on Sunday. I want to go so I want to try for a ticket. I can't really afford to go so I shouldn't try for a ticket :(

well that was short lived. got onto the booking page several times but all tickets gone each place I tried.

Its worse than that - they only give you a ticket for the coach and then the coach driver gives out the actual glasto tickets at a service station stop halfway there

I thought that was the only thing? Once I was on the coach and got my ticket at Fleet services my coach ticket (or my tickets' "coach only" stipulation) wasn't checked (at the gate) iirc?
