I don't think that's really going to happen.. It's just hype.. There was always a bar (one bar!) in LV where you had to be dressed up to get in, but I don't have a problem with that. If you're trying to create a casino environment, you need to have people dressed up

Good point, well made. I never seem to get turned away.

The missus wouldn't allow me to regrow the tache. And I do get dressed up for glastonbury, just not in a way dictated by style guides.

You gotta respect the traditions, just not let anyone else tell you HOW to respect the traditions.

Also, blue paint washes off in the rain, and then you're just a nudist, and that's NEVER good.

oooh, this has just popped into my head. A few glastonburys back we had a fancy dress day in our camping group, for exactly the reasons ouch said. I, rather boringly, chose elvis, and got myself the jumpsuit and wig combo. Wandering around sans wig, i had a group of people come up and take photos of me. To paraphrase "evil kneival is the best costume ever".
