Last year it was in The Sun, but that was before registration started.There was a full page add in the indy today pleading for registrations, they must be getting desperate.

How do they work that out???One for the conspiracy theorists. There's been a significant jump in the number of registrations, which is understandable if people thought the registration period ended at the end of Feb, as it did last year. But it seems that everybody who has registered over the last few days has got a registration number that is a multiple of 3 (after you take away the 1 at the front).
I had a dream about Arthur Lee last night, so maybe he is coming back
<registers>
Lost vagueness aren't at Glasto this year for a number of reasons one of which being the fact that it really was a bit shite last year, another being the fact that Madness was a badly kept secret and the place got rammed with pissed off punters on saturday, not least though they closed for a part of saturday night in a huff because Astro cafe were camped in the dragon field and they threw a strop and closed everything for a while when they were told that astro cafe were allowed to stay as they were friends with one of michaels grand daughters who I was camped with and worked with painting bins.
The fact was that Brian and the astro lot weren't even selling anything really they just had a bit of a set up there with a coconut shy getting wankered and having a laugh with mates. I should know I was next to them.
Anything as stylised as Lost vagueness is bound to lose its edge after a little while they just took their eye off the ball imo and got a bit big for their boots with the strike. They were always gonna put a bit of a spin on them leaving and Im sure they'll go on to do other things with the brand, but it was tired last year.
Not TOO bothered about the tipis moving, as newbie said things evolve and change over the years and not all change is bad. I'd heard the tipi circle WOULD be at the foot of the Sacred Space, but perhaps they'll instead be at the top of Pennards between Sacred Space and the Park? The latter layout might make logical sense if the Bimble (itself an overgrown tipi ) is to move to that area.
frankly I couldn't care less where they go, as they don't interest me, but I'll be a bit miffed if they colonise a field I do care about.
Someone rumoured that there will be 400 more pay tipis in the barracks area over by the Park (at least, I think that's where they meant, maybe it was the equally ridiculous field over The Bridge) so why don't they go over there?
Thom Yorke on why they're not playing Glastonbury this time said:Not because of transport issues but because the festival goers at Glastonbury were more than likely sick of the sight of us.. it felt a little early to be doing it again, we felt as if we had only just played there.
All power to them [ie Michael and Emily]
Have good Glastonbury and maybe see you there in 2009. ? maybe?
Thom Yorke gives his side of the Radiohead/Glasto/Environment story:

What's this field over a bridge you're all on about?
The hired tipis in the "tipi village" last year were outside of the main fence and accessed via a temporary bridge over the road at the eastern end of the railway line.
The Slackers are strongly rumoured to be playing according to efests. I've wanted to see that band at glastonbury for a long time and the year i decide to give it a miss they finally book them!
Well there's certainly a lot of general hostility to Glastonbury around -- for a very erm 'diverse' range of reasons (most of them prejuduced, ignorant and blinkered IMO).
Check that link if you have a bit of time ... some of those comments are well annoying ...
