It's not long now!!!

Just wanted to say big good luck to all the people wanting tickets. This time next week we'll be posting up the "who's going" list and sorting out lift shares...

buy as much as you can, you know you'll be hooked on camping and festivals afterwards :D

Actually, I've not bought a tent yet but I will soon

See, the thing is (why does no one ever bleedin well remember what I've said!) that I used to have ALL the kit, on account of going camping for years!!!! These days, my tents gone mouldy, my trailers fucked, I don't wanna know what happened to my rollmats in my damp garage...but I do still have me airbeds :)

I'm scared of buying just one thing, cos I know I'll just end up going wild, and in debt :(

Me and me mate have a plan to counter bankruptcy - we're going to borrow as much as we can off her brother and another mate. I desperately want me own kit, but pennies ain't there

Can we go to seret garden pls Badgers? :)

I will nestle in your secret bushes any time treacle....

As for Glasto I can't go at all :(

Have about 5 small reasons why not and them all combined means it will be a 'fallow' year for us....

See you at Beautiful Days or some filthy warehouse in Hackney x

hmm :(

So what happens if we don't get tickets?

They're used to be contingency plans?

William?

In rush at moment so will have to get back to this one later, but IF you get up promptly before 9 on Sunday (big if maybe!! :p ) and have your registration details to, hand, then personally I think the chances of getting a ticket will be pretty high.

There may also be low key, not widely publicised, re-release of small tranches of more tickets later -- there are BOUND to be technical errors leading to duplicate bookings, and a few returns before the deadline (end of April??) for people to return tickets. There won't be many who do this, but surely a few for unabvoidable crisis reasons. Also, bound ro be small numbr of people who order intially goes through smoothly but are numpty (or unfortunate!) enough not to have sufficient funds handy to back their purchase ... that ticket, initially apparantly sold, would become available again. This is all speculative, but with a dose of common sense too ...

And on Urban and other sites, we'll keep an eye out for these things ...

For example this "not widely publicised" announcement on the main Glastonbury website says...

Will there be a further sale of tickets?

• As there will inevitably be duplicate purchases, declined payments and cancelled transactions after April 1st, a further sale of tickets will be held this year, on Sunday 22nd April, at 9.00am. The same requirement of prior registration will apply.

Call yourself a festographer! :p

can someone tell a thicky like me what date I'm supposed to be buying tickets please

this sunday? at 9?

*tries to drill it into her head*

how the fuck has it got to fucking ticket time already? I've totally lost almost every day of this year so far

*tries to slow the world down*

If it's any help, it might be useful to those of you in the South West or who know someone in the region to keep an eye on local news after the tickets have all been sold as they often hold some back for local residents to sell aftr the official deadline.

I'm sure its not 2 years, it can't be 2 years since the incident with the express delivery bag of mushrooms :D

Arrrghh... I'm having doubts. Even if I got a ticket, I can't get to the site until Friday lunchtime, then have to leave late Sunday afternoon. So that's a few hundred quid for a 48-hour party. I really don't know if it's worth it  :(

Still worth it

sparklefish just phoned me to say that she has got the workers beer union gig, so one less ticket for us to buy :)

She was a bit excitable to say the least :D <looks forward to free watery pints>

It is and it isn't. I mean, I could do lots of nights out in London with the money

I think if you're going to get your money's worth out of Glasto you have to do it properly and get there on Wednesday afternoon...

I've just heard they've granted another 27500 tickets to be sold and its on for 6 days?!??!

If so....fucking YES!!!! :D :D: D:D: D::D:D: DA';fljklafkjdg ;kdsafj ho;~!
