As you are now infoTort: out of curiosity when do stall holders find out that they are accepted as stall holders and when do they know there ticket allocation.

Ok on that topic, if you pay for a stall do you have to turn up with one? and how much is a stall and what kind of ticket allocation do you get. (gears running here people).

Successful applications are advised in February according to the Stallholders Info Page. Sorry can't help any further than that.

Early reports on online registration are that the whole process is easy peasy & lots of people getting their confirmations back almost straight away. As long as the photo is in .jpg format & less than 400kb it resizes automatically.

Waiting on my technical advisor ;) to help me out here ...

But I have all February, so no problems :)

They just did a story on Channel 4 news about the registration for Glasto tickets... they've basically confirmed The Who and Arctic Monkeys.

Must be a quiet news day.

Can someone help me?

I've never been to Glastonbury before, and I'm thinking, fuck it, go for it - you only live once. I want two tickets...so I went on the official website and it's asking me to register, upload a picture of myself, get a code and then buy the ticket. I'm a tad

can someone break this process down for me into manageable bite size chunks as I'm being a dolt and frankly nervous about the whole process.

many Tas.

:)

It's all very clearly set out on the website but in simpleton's language you have to:-

1) Pre-Register either online or by post submitting your name, address & a passport style photo of yourself. You have all of February to do this.

2) Receive a registration number.

3) At 9am on Sunday 1st April get online or on the phone with your registration number & a DEBIT card.

4) Pray

5) If unsuccesful there will be a resale on 15th April

6) Turn up at Worthy Farm Pilton at or before 10am on Wednesday 20th June, erect tent & get completely spangled for 5 days.

7) Return home with a silly grin having enjoyed the best weekend of your year.

excellent. Thanks for this, I'll refer back once I've got a passport photo made up.

One more question....any idea of potential price?

I do apologise, fellow posters, for the sudden prick invasion ^ a la Nonmame.

He's on the troll / cross thread harassment rampage this evening, so just ignore his childish spats.

I am.

Anyone want to anwer my question, I'm all ears.

thanks.

It’d be interesting to know how many people pre-register so that we know what odds people are likely to have of actually getting a ticket on 1 April. GFL are saying 100k already but there again GFL said 2 million people tried to buy tickets last time & we all know that is bollocks!

From what I can ascertain the first registration number given out at 8am yesterday was 1,000,001 and by 10pm last night they had got to about 1,026,000 i.e. 26,000 registrations. Although admittedly we are probably only looking at online registrations so far I wonder if people could post up the first 4 digits of their registration numbers as & when they are received. This will at least give us an idea of numbers to the nearest 1,000

1035804 ...!

Don't tell me that means 1,035,804 people have applied ...!!!

Nope only 35,804! :D

But that probably only includes online registrations to date.

Millets put a full page advert in the Sun today about the pre registration thing.

Bought the Sun and might even frame the Glastonbury advert in the sun.
Lol
