If this thread kicks off again after I'd gone to all the effort of turfing out the last lot of off topic bollocks, the ban button will be wielded with maximum force.

I've just registered, it's over 1056000 now, I'm going to start taking all this seriously now  More beer drinking practice called for :)

So that's 56,000 registered online so far. Apparantly this doesn't include any postal registrations yet but still not an excessive number imho.

I want two tickets...

You do realise you need to register EACH person the ticket is for, as the ticket will have the picture of the person it belongs to on, i.e. you can't have two tickets with your mug on, that another person will use...

Oh, and what about the Wurzels on the main stage :(

Just so everybody is aware there is an ongoing problem with hotmail not delivering the confirmation e-mails. Try to use an alternative to hotmail if at all possible or if you have no alternative make sure you make a note of your registration number before closing the registration screen down.

Bugger  now you tell me  I'll be rummaging in the bin at work tomorrow for that bit of scrap paper.

Oh no, bugger again, the bins will have been emptied :(

hope I get my email sometime. :)

i seem to have a touch of the cant-be-bothered's about it all.

You don't need to bother though, do you ;) ;)

See you there obviously -- you'll be bothered enough by June!! :)

two years off and 'can't be bothereds' -- FREAK!! :D

if i'm going its cos i always go - not cos i would go now if i'd never been before iyswim.

i'd certainly wonder about the environmental impact of it, the faffing about with registration and the bloody price!

Your posts wiskey and WOW have sent a surge of panic through my stomach!!

Went through all my pictures and not one of me, sensible, without a hat or someone else!!

We shall be snapping each other and sorting tomorrow, for definate.;)

theres little point in me going if nobody else goes :p so obviously i hope those that want tickets get them

Me too. We'll no doubt be joining the scrum on the 1st April, but at the moment I'm really struggling to get motivated.

it's february, getting motivated about anything is next to impossible.

Exactly!
the ticket-buying malarkey just gets earlier every year - a fine festival I go to in October sold out of their first release of tickets for this year less than 3 months after the previous festival finished. what next – 5-year season tickets, so the festivals can get their cash in extra early?

I can only assume it makes their cash flow possible.

We've apparently already bought tix for Womad, but I can't muster any enthusiasm at all. Past experience suggests I'll get excited, nearer the time, after all the tickets have been sold, and will be grateful for the forethought etc put in on my behalf. But really, it's sunny just now but is frosty at night, how's a body supposed to believe in summer?

I'm trying to get enthusiastic, really I am, especially about Womad, which is back on the horizon now it's moved from the awful Reading site. It'll be the first one I've been to for a few years but I used to really like it.

however - just as my motivation dips to its lowest point the letter arrives asking me to work this year.

so now i feel a bit better about it.

Me three :)

I'm still a bit annoyed that the tipi field is moving outside the fence. It's the heart of the festival for me :(

Infoman on the Glasto boards said there will be more details about it on the website at the end of the week...
