Hi Tort,
I work at the BBC on the Glastonbury coverage on BBC 2 AND 3. I have been point ed in your direction as a person who may be able to help.
I'm looking for seasoned Glastonbury campers. Ideally were looking for people in or around the age of 60. But lookign at your photo I think you may be a little younger??
We're looking for real charaters who have quirky stories and experiences to share - and of course they can't be camera shy. If your interested would you mind telling me a bit about your self? Or if you know of anyone that fits the bill if you could point me in the right direction.
Here is my direct e-mail address: ########### - if you are interested please contact me at this address.
Hope to hear from you soon.
Kind Regards,
#####
No, it's a J cloth I only have one bra, and it's black...mmmSkyscraper said:Is that a turqoise bra hanging off your sink?
mmmSkyscraper said:I'll be there on Thursday night as well by the way. Listen out for a scouse accent... (not an uber scal accent, just a partial scally).

See you at the cider bus ...?
And it's a photo from last night!moose said:PS: Anyone else deeply dissatisfied with the webcam this year? It doesn't show enough of the site and no sky, so you can't really see what the weather's doing! Bring back the old one on the roof of the cattleshed.

beesareonthewhatnow said:send an email with your boardname in the main body to:
glastonbury.urbanites at virgin.net
and I'll send you the camp urban map/meetup details
William of Walworth said:Not really. We expect to assemble at the Cider Bus from about 8 pm on Wednesday night (22nd June) and the same time the following night (Thursday 23rd).
We'll be somewhere on the other side of the track from the Bus. Call out 'Urban 75' in a loud voice** until someone answers ...there'll be lot of us to hear you ...
For best results, I advice at least 1 pint of Cider and/or at least 1 spliff, before attempting the Urban 75 callout ....
Are you on beesareonthewhatnow's mailing list?
Crispy said:Got your travel sorted? (Anyone else on the 9am coach from Victoria?)
Crispy said:One Week To Go. Repeat. One Week To Go.
Time to make checklists, pack, unpack and repack bags, panic about ID etc.
If you haven't bought all your drugs yet, get on with it!
Argos will quickly sell out of cheap tents on the weekend - get down on a weekday.

Not long now!
Oooh, I just noticed that the burn on the back of my hand is the same shape as africa.

Xanadu said:But the coach takes absolutely AGES to get there! The train is so much quicker, only about 2 hours, compared to 3hr40 by coach! And the coach costs £35, compared to £19/£25 on the train.
I'm still tempted by the coach, since you get dropped off at the gate though. The bus from castle cary station to the site dropped us about 20-30 minutes walk away. That walk was a right pain!

Giles said:Well, no, but .... I phoned my local Argos, and asked if they had any, and they said no. And its an "Argos Extra Superstore" as well.
