Two spaces in me Mum's rubbish car available....

Well, it's not that rubbish, but not exactly rock 'n' roll. Toyota Yaris thing. Live in Sydenham/Crystal Palace. Going down first thing Wednesday, coming back Monday when I'm capable enough to find the keyhole in the car door
Any takers....or is there an Urbanites' thread knocking about for this kinda thing already

Share petrol/Minstrels costs obviously

i got my ticket!!
It's in my hand!!
WOoooOOOHOOooOO!
:)

:( :( <worried>

We will phone them on Monday .... anyone knows if there'll be human beings around at SMS, on a weekday evening?? (we won't know for sure whether or not they've tried to deliver them, until we're home from work)

mine arrived this morning after getting them to redeliver earlier in the week

the man laughed at me when I danced at him in my porch :(

:D:D:D:D

I didnt realise how strict they would be re ticket signing. AM on the other side of the world, and when they arrived the couriers wouldnt accept my partners signature. Fortunately when he called up to explain the situation, as we'd used his email address but my name and card, they accepted to redeliver in HIS name.

On a related (and cheeky) note, As am stuck in Banda-Aceh and Aus til 21st June, and thus unable to organise much, don't suppose any kind soul has space for 2 from london or brighton to Glasto. Will pay petrol money, offer booze, tell stories, sing, spin fire, bring ancient tales form distant lands, war torn countries and disaster areas in exchange.

Just noticed that The Bays will be doing the Thursday evening set in the Lost Vagueness Ballroom (remeber Pronghorn last year?). I guess that'll do for starters. :D

Just got the tent out for an airing, and it's still sticky and wet from last year's mud. Yuk! All other ingredients falling into place. Half the stash has been assembled, coach has been booked (anyone else on the 9am national express coach on wednesday?)

Starting to get really excited now :) - Glastonbury's this thing that's about to happen, not something in the future that I don't have to think about right now.

thats where we'll be then :D

does anybosy know when / where chris liberator is playing? according to his booking agents (sufcollective.co.uk) he is at glasto on fri and sat, but had a look at the official site and don't see any mention of it....I presume the traveller field (the one at the very far end of the car park, miles from the glasto entrance) is a thing of the past these days?

they say they're there 24/7 - tho it could be a recorded service you get through to, I did.

It sure is...a thing of the past that is. Notsure where Chris playing. Email suf and ask. I missed him last week in ireland and was hoping i'd bump into him at pilton. good good

Ok tent, complete with last years mud, is now up in the garden (with new tent pegs :) ) and has been Fabrisil-ed - and I'm getting excited! In fact, I saw the first glimmer of excitement from young Master Felixthekitten ( its really not cool to get excited by anything, you know), when we opened the tent and it smelt of Glasto....... :D

recently I've discovered the power of groundless, baseless, mindless optimism. It works. Therefore from this point I am ignoring all weather forecasts and simply assuming the weather will be fantastic.

It will be. :)

This is my plan too.
Positive thinking all round chums.
Failing that wellies and a plastic mac should do the trick.
I spent most of last year in swimsuit and wellies...just the job.
