thanks for the reassurance - still quite annoying not to be able to make other plans in case it doesnt happen. their website is spectacularly unhelpful and hasnt been updated in ages. considering they must have had alot of applications to green police, you'd think they'd put up contact info or a site area specific to it. felt like a bit of an eejit emailing the Training manager and Volunteers Coordinator for the whole organisation, about greenpolicing! but i need to know cos theres G8 bike caravan stuff i want to get involved in if glasto's out.

I'll be sending out a mailing to all those on the mailing list in the next couple of days (no great news) - will include a request for anyone else who applied to green police to let us know if they've heard anything yet and report back.

Not for definite certain (YET) on EFestivals that Kylie's Glasto show has been cancelled ...

The BBC have reported that Kylie is suffering from breast cancer, and she's cancelled her upcoming 20 dates in Austrailia, from 19th May until 14th June.

Kylie said in a statement "Hopefully all will work out fine and I'll be back with you all again soon".

Her tour company said ""She will undergo immediate treatment and consequently her Australian tour will not be able to proceed as planned."

No comment has been made about her headline slot at Glastonbury Festival on Sunday 26th June. However, it's quite possible that it won't now go ahead.

eFestivals wishes Kylie well, and looks forward to seeing her back in action soon.

That reference to her Australian tour having originally been scheduled to the 14th June, makes it pretty unlikely that she'll be back at Glasto only 13 days later, though ...
