Either try and get a stewarding place or hope they may release a few more tickets as cancelations happen.

Other than that, you're fucked I'm afraid :(

I have joined the ranks of the bastards!!! (And not just because my parents never bothered to get married, unholy feckers, will burn in hell I can tell ye)

See you there fellow Glasto-chums :)

i can understand you'd be annoyed, but the fact you and 20 people didnt know tix were on sale today is a bit odd!!?? .. maybe a bit of research beforehand would have been good

Ticket details were announced on the 1st of March! If not one of your 20 mates have bothered checking up in that time then did you really want to go that badly?

Anyone still waiting for confirmation? Stop worrying!

I just spoke to a helpful chap at Aloud. He says that if you've seen the page that says "Thank you for your order" and tells you how many tix you've ordered, then the order IS in the system but you may have to wait until tomorrow for the confirmation. It's taking longer than they thought to process the orders.

It seems that they've done a pretty good job, all things considered, although I'm sure this is cold comfort for those who didn't get tickets. Love and hugs to them.

What's it got to do with faces?

You can't have wanted to go that badly if between 21 of you, nobody realised that tickets were on sale. Same time every year. Ish.

By the way, you're in work tomorrow at 9. Get a shirt ironed and set the alarm for, oooh, about 7.30.

don't despair yet space-hopper - check out story's post above - very helpful first post btw story - welcome to the boards :)

I have to say I was impressed with the system handling that lot of orders so quick

sorry to those without them :(

goddamit
..was refreshing all morning on both explorer and firefox on aloud.com and didn't get anywhere, heard friend got through with seetickets.com/g2005/ and sold out just as processing my order at 11am.. noticed this link was posted on unban at 9:15 ...oh dear
oh well, recycling it is if lucky

Anyone who thinks they've booked tickets and hasn't received their confirmation email yet should check whether their junk mail filter has put it somewhere other than in their inbox.

Failing that, phone Aloud in the next couple of days and give them your post code to check whether your application has gone through.

Thank you Wolfie.

Don't usually do this sort of thing - feeling a bit shy

no need to be shy :)

you'll have to come and meet up with the U75 posse at the cider bus (although my advice would be not to touch the vile cider ;) ) - you'll find some of us are almost human :D

im being told by someone else that any tickets booked on the international number will be cancelled at the next stage (when they check for duplicates) can someone please tell me if this is bollocks or not? i cant get thru to the customer services number.

Last year mine went through twice and I got 2 confirmation emails and I was worried in case somehow I lost both of them, but apparently if they see 2 or more identical orders for the same names, they just automatically filter out the duplicates.

Giles..

confirmation arrived, not as stressful as last year and fucking glad i got out of bed early - seeya at the Cider Bus

Phew!

Got through on the website at 9:40 this morning, confirmation email just arrived in my junk box at 21:10 this evening.

Does this mean the Aloud people are still working? Bless them for not going home and making us wait overnight!

Just got a phone call from my mate's missus in a panic because she still has no confirmation e-mail for the tickets I ordered him at about 9:55 this morning. I rang the See Tickets' Customer Services line on 0870 120 0332 & they confirmed the order has been placed so if e-mails haven't arrived there is still no need to panic. I suggest if you are worried you ring this number and see what the score is.

The info they gave before the tickets went on sale indicated that this may be the case but I know of people who asked when they rang through on the International number whether it was OK to make UK bookings and the operator said no problems. Suggest you call See Tickets Customer Services (see post above) if you are worried.

Just to pre-empt any alarm in people who've seen this in the Guardian:
And there was further uncertainty for thousands of festival-goers who were last night awaiting emailed confirmation. But Mr Rambaran said that as long as they had written down the reference number given at the end of the booking process, they would be covered.
There was no reference number given at the end of the booking process. Ring See Tickets' Customer Services line on 0870 120 0332 to confirm they've got your order.

Moose is right -- when our order was confirmed online, the confirmation page of the aloud.com website had no reference number.

We still got the confirmation email about three hours later -- ordered about 9:20 ; confirmation email arrived about 12:30.

Has anyone not got email confirmations yet?
Everyone I know seems to have got theirs now, so just curious...
