Yeah yeah, we believe you. *cough*

Got my confirmation email, see all you lovely Urbanites at Worthy Farm. :)

We've just had our confirmation email arrive in Stig's inbox!!! :D

And our original confirmation on aloud did not feature a reference number, if thats any reassurance ....

Good luck to feyr, Istari, Deus, LDR and others who weren't successful ...

Heading for pub very soon :p

Phew! One chilled hippy. I was getting worried.

stayed up till six-ish, got up nine-ish, got through and filled in form fine-ish, submitted but the it got stuck.. thought I'd wait and see if it had worked anyway.. went back to sleep, wonderful wonderful sleep.

just got up again, no tickets for me and no more for now.. oh well.. ne'er mind.. (it's not as good as it used to be, etc, etc)

No email yet, got through to Customer Service line and no record of booking yet (she said don't panic it means nothing-currently panicking!!)

Got the email about an hour ago. Fucking jackpot.

That was totally painless - used Binka's link and booked 8 tickets in about 10 minutes. Seemed too easy, but panic is over now.

To all people still waiting for the email, try and chill, I'm sure it will arrive soon.

I got mine, I was just saying on the other thread that it's unfair to others who haven't got theirs to start going on about it. at least until they had sold out.

I feel so sorry for everyone who won't make it :( It could have been us... :(

Stop being so negative mate.
Instead of us feeling sorry for them, they should feel happy for us. ;)

There's always a silver lining.

I guess I just have a huge amount of empathy... sorry.

Yeah well.. just got out of bed. No Glasto tickets for me!! Nothing like taking control of things.. ;) :D

If I don't get a ticket I would find it very hard to be happy for ticket holders - I'm bitter like that! :D

I would have to avoid friends who are going and turn over the radio everytime the festival is mentioned. Oh yeah and run away to some remote campsite in cornwall for glastonbury weekend where I would drink myself unconscious, sobbing and renounce god.

Edit: Just read this:

"This morning there were 7.5 million hits on the aloud.com website from people desperate to get their hands on the £125 prized tickets for the event on the fields of Michael Eavis in Pilton, Somerset."
http://breakingnews.iol.ie/entertainment/story.asp?j=138671814&p=y3867z5zx

7,500,000 hits!

If there were only 112,000 tickets available then thats just a one in 67 chance of getting a ticket online isn't it? That's not including phone sales so it's probably much more than that.

Still no email :(

I didn't get a ref number either but William and Tort said that was OK - didn't they?

Starting to worry again..and I can't get that 44 number to work at all :(

No, this will include every single time people hit "refresh" so I'm probably responsible for about 300 of those myself! :)

I've only got the first of our 4 orders confirmed so far Penni. Just had a look on efest & somebody quoted an aloud operator as saying they hadn't even got through the first 30 minutes worth of orders so far.

Yeah, but going by your calendar, you should get it in April 2006.

Easy for me to say, but I'm sure it will arrive. My arse was twitching because I wondered if the link was blag - I now know for certain that it was real. So providing you filled in everything correctly and got that confirmation page (without a ref. number, don't panic!) then you'll be fine sunbeam.

"Your order is to attend GLASTONBURY at Worthy Farm Pilton-Somerset on 24-26 JUNE 2005"

what a bizarre way of putting it. still, wtf, it's a confirmation e-mail, so I can go and do something else useful now.
