Far-right response to Southport Outrage And Ongoing Violent Disorder

Thank you for this. Doesn’t look like many masks in the still from the video above, are the fash present likely to get lifted for this? It’s not a protest when they’re going for people and buildings, every single one ought to be banged up for terrifying children like this.

Yeah no masks on any of them.

I was masked, one of them infiltrated our side in Castle park.

"Why you covering your face is there a covid outbreak?"
"Yes there is."
"Is there a COVID outbreak?"
"Yes there is"
"Is there a COVID outbreak?"
"Yes there is"
"Is there a COVID outbreak?"
"Yes there is"
He reached out and pulled my mask down.

"Don't you fucking dare touch me again"

Few other people noticed at this point and had moved in and he walked off calling us parasites.

.

According to some, she was one of the organisers?
Don't think she'll be removing anything again or her other business of face painting at kids parties.
We used Leanne's Removal when my father in law died to clear out his place. They turned up late and announced that they couldn't do the actual job until the next day. Not impressed. I gather she is now online promoting herself a lot. So how thick is she to get involved in the riot so visibly?

Answered your own question.
Her personal profile on FB is just right wing propaganda.

There's been people doing heroic things today, but there will be all kinds of actions to undertake in the near future - online, organising meetings, educational stuff and the rest. People can do what they are comfortable with, in their own communities and beyond. This is a very dangerous moment though and we need to combat this horror.

What's especially bizarre is when it comes from people who live in majority white areas, where there are little to no immigrants.
Not really that bizarre - those of us living in cities have neighbours, work colleagues, lovers etc. from all kinds of backgrounds, and most (but not all) of us get that most people are basically alright, and it kind of immunises people against certain prejudices. If you live somewhere less diverse you might find your opinions formed instead by our dreadful racist press, or social media, or that gobby twat down the pub. Different life experiences and all that.

They're being wound up and manipulated. Once this is over, there needs to be a very through investigation into who by. There's no way this is spontaneous.
Try looking here, which was already posted earlier in the thread, for starters:

Stirring up anti-Muslim hate across Europe, boosting the likes of Le Pen. Some big money going into all of this.

Round up from FLAF

It’s been a long day & FLAF members have been out and about in their own towns & cities, helping those opposing racists & fascists across the length & breadth of England…

* Blackburn: Muslim Youth mobilised & there’s been clashes with fascist hooligans. They’re expecting the same fash mob in Bolton tomorrow.

* Blackpool: Rebellion Festival took to the streets behind a FLAF banner to confront fascists that were threatening to storm the festival.

* Bristol: had a long stand-off between fascists & antifascists. Later on in the afternoon the two sides clashed with antifascists getting the upper hand.

* Leeds: large numbers on both sides. Antifascists confronted them a couple of times & blocked them off from getting to the counter demo. The fascists left the area after a confrontation with FLAF & other local antifascists.

* Liverpool: fantastic result last night for our side, but terrible today. Fash all over the docks area & then the city centre.

* Manchester: loads of fash out, but also a sizeable but smaller counter. Some of the antifascists got directly targeted by the fash, some blows exchanged, but basically a stand-off & broken up by police.

* Nottingham: Nottingham Antifascists & FLAF. Cops were on top of it, separated the fash & the counter. Later on, as the fash numbers were dwindling, some Asian lads got stuck into them.

——————————————————

* In the north tomorrow, the most likely hotspots of fascist activity are BOLTON and MIDDLESBROUGH.

Good to see in Bristol the fash are out numbered by 4-5 by the the counter protesters.

Wasn’t attending the protest, the anti-Fash protest. But walked through town earlier on the way to a gig. It was a bit edgy. I was with a couple of Spanish mates. One of the fascist slot in the cloud of skunk smoke shouting about asylum seekers. They gave us no grief. But we had to move around the police blockades to get where we were going. There are a lot of anti-Fash shouting refugees welcome. Fairplay to them.

Really scary they got that close in Bristol, wtf were the cops doing?? Surely they knew that would be a target??? 😡😡

Agree and was thinking earlier that there'll probably have to be new threads as to what their strategy/ goals are, and best ways to combat them,,ultimately, what to put in their place ; basically the same issues AFA had and then once successful, the issues the IWCA had. With social media, post brexit and labour austerity as added extras
At the moment, they seem to be hitting out in randomized acts of violence where they can, but still seem devoid of an overall strategy like the BNP had, March and grow, rights for whites etc. But, probably for another thread as people still dealing with stuff and getting over today atm.

I knew it was a target from the night before, I walked past it on my way into town and they had a load of vans and already riot suited cops hanging around so I thought it safe. Turns out they were just getting ready there, not setting up there.

The only reason there were 6 bike cops was because they'd followed us from St. Nicks...

This is all coordinated. My YouTube recommendations have now started including Tommy Robinson and others from weird “news channel” accounts.
Having just been down to castle park, Bristol, and then later on to the Grovesner hotel where the fash were trying to intimidate refugee families and then use their brawn’s to rage at barely teenage girls I put myself in between. I actually managed to have some half decent words with some of the more tearful and bare chested fash but there were some real horrible cunts intent on violence.
I got a few barely connecting punches hit me and kicks off the fash until police told me to go for my own safety. I saw fash with shivs. And pointed them out to the cops before I listened to police advice and did my best impression of a news of the world reporter.
Or I made like McCain and chipped.

Fair play to Boris. I hope you’re okay.

Scary, but it held!

There's going to be multiple doors booted in during the early hours by old bill in the coming days but that's not gonna bother the fash is it? They'll see it as a badge of honour, getting their collars felt for this.

I don't know what the answer is to this, it's all so depressing.

Books equal education. That's the last thing they want. So destroying such a facility is actually to their advantage.

😔
It's not just that though.

@jamiemgreer

The Spellow Hub on County Road is on fire. The Spellow is a library which reopened last year and provides support for people of all abilities to gain education and a path to employment. Truly awful

More here.

Great work and that bit about the kids nearly set me off again. But fucking hell, having to put yourself on the line to stop fascists potentially murdering people. Plus reports of stabbings, acid attacks, Asian men attacked in their cars. What the fuck is happening? We really need to get organised.
Bloody hell! Talk like that would guarantee you an immediate ban on AVF. I'm almost shocked to hear such an outright view. We have to tiptoe on eggshells on AVF these days.

Growing up in the NE it was not diverse at all and there was a fair bit of casual racism. I suspect not much has changed. :(

Fuck I didn’t realise how bad it got in Bristol. I feel well lame for not getting involved in someway. Not be much good in that sort of situation. I think it is shit up my mates Spannish sister-in-law though. Walking past some of these tosses heading down a street we were on. they weren’t saying anything to us except your skunk man showing in coherent anti-asylum seeker bollocks. I think it did shit up my Spannish mates sister-in-law though. Just the whole atmosphere. Police horses and what not.

Scary shit in Bristol tonight, had to hold the line as fascists fought their way to the front of a hotel that houses refugees.

Only 6 cops on bikes present, police horses finally arrived when they'd got to about 5m from the door.

The kids in the windows making heart signs at us, beautiful but I can't imagine what it must have been like for those who've fled war and conflict to watch this outside your refuge.

Proud of Bristol but still fucking shaking. WTF
Utmost respect.
