Can anyone recommend a bar/pub in central London that will show the race tomorrow? Preferably with the commentary sound on so we can hear what's going on.
Cheers for the info. We might just go back to my mates house but it's good to have some options if we stay out.Riley's Sports Bar in victoria
but its been a few years since i've been central looking to watch a race in a pub
anyone into football know if a 6pm race clashes with anything as sure you could talk a manager of a local boozer with the sky sports package
to turn over unless a match is in play
albion in the city might be a good shout to
Real or VSC or both?Sweepstake on how many safety cars tomorrow?
Hadn’t thought about the VSC. But will accept combos.Real or VSC or both?
If both I think 5, split 2 real, 3 VSC.
Sweepstake on how many safety cars tomorrow?
The same way UFC, WWE, horse racing, golf, tennis, boxing, snooker, Spanish football etc do.Seriously, how does F1 defend racing on a circuit dangerous enough anyway without factoring in war and a country that publicly beheaded 81 people just a fortnight ago?
And how many red flags?Hadn’t thought about the VSC. But will accept combos.
I’ll go 2 real and 2 vsc.
tbf this is probably more likely than a SC. As we saw from Micks crash it don't take much for debris to cover the whole width of the track! And how many red flags?
Exactly. The same way UFC, WWE, horse racing, golf, tennis, boxing, snooker, Spanish football etc do.
Money.
Saudi Arabia has spent at least $1.5bn on 'sportswashing', report reveals
Exclusive: analysis finds nation has spent big on high-profile global sporting events in a bid to bolster its reputationwww.theguardian.com
I think the opposite is more likely. We saw Seb do sports driving sessions with women last year, WWE have now got to the point where more than one women's 'match' is on the card.Exactly.
No coincidence the announcement of the (very lucrative) Saudi deal came as F1 was revealing their financial losses in 2020. Seems rhe time of maximum financial stress was when F1’s ethical standards became most flexible.
It sucks - I don’t like the circuit and hate the fact F1 sells its brand image, in exchange for a pot of gold from a dictatorship. My views won’t change anything, but let’s hope pressure from sponsors eventually changes F1’s priorities.
I think it's 6 here, so 5 in uk. But I might be wrongIs it 6pm start today? I'm all out of sync what with the clock change.
Let's do this again.
Next week, the Saudi GP. That mild and mollient regime much beloved by arms dealers everywhere. Where atheism is legally defined as terrorism. Which is ironic given the amount of actual terrorism spawned in that cartographically-created kingdom.

6pm U.K., 7pm on the continent. A nice civilised time which allows for dinner to be completed before settling down with the TV. Mind you, in Spain isn’t it the done thing to eat dinner at midnight, or some bonkers time like that?I think it's 6 here, so 5 in uk. But I might be wrong
