And from what I can tell she is the ideological driver of this government. If it has any ideas at all, they come from inside the rancid brain of Rachel Reeves. She's very fucking dangerous.

But this is also telling in other ways. That growth that she so craves and so stubbornly refuses to appear - its absence is our fault for not being optimistic enough! Not hers. Not the fault of her discredited ideology, which doesn't even work according to her inhuman terms.

It's like she's doing her term in power in fast-forward. Less than a year in, and she's reached the decadent failure phase already.
