Donald Trump's 2nd term

Kagan and Frum (and their mates) have been around since then and, as you see, they're still around now. As I say, the problem facing them--the last problem as they see it--is the prospect of a nuclear weapon controlled by the Ayatollahs. They see that as what they call "an existential threat," not without reason tbh. They'll be around until they achieve their objectives.
And what's your faction's objectives?

Have no doubt Trump will win and the country will not survive.

The Democrats have made a huge mistake with Biden staying on, but they're going to have to up their game if they want to keep fascism in check.
Can't see them doing that..downturn is going to get worse next year (already breaking records for debt defaults*). Markets are alreading gamed for intrest rate cuts.
Upping their game means getting biblical on usary . Needs a Shmitayear not fucking trickle down tax cuts for the rich

*weirdly only been keeping records of that sort of thing since the dotcom crash 20 years ago

How can Biden not be completely destroying Trump in the polls? Trump is facing probable jail time if he is not elected president again and pardons himself. It shows Biden very badly as an old fool if he can’t beat such a weakened Trump.

US economy aint doing so well whilst Biden is doing the old you've never had it so good. Jobs numbers he says are up but when you deep dive over half are second jobs people are taking to get by. Savings also being depleted.

Neither Trump nor Biden are popular

So why is it, in your view, that extensive opinion polling on the Ukraine war is failing to detect this?

Recent polls are detecting it: "Republican support for Ukraine war has withered since start of conflict"

They don't sound like likely Biden voters in the first place, what with being Republicans.

The point is that their opposition to Biden's war makes them more likely to vote for Trump. As you presumably know, many registered Republicans oppose Trump.

It'll be the economy, which is not as rosy as claimed. Don't think foreign wars with no US boots will shift much either way.

People are afraid that if Biden is re-elected he will send American troops to the Ukraine, as well as reinforcing those already in Syria. His government is dominated by neo-cons, and that is the salient difference between him and Trump.

Not that the economy isn't a complete fiasco under Biden, of course.

Never heard any Republican pushing that line and you'd think they'd pick it up if polls or focus groups showed it.

Ok, so why do you think these polls are all failing to capture the opposition of the American people to the war, given that it is is very obvious they are opposed?

The polls show that support for the war is collapsing among Americans. And it was never strong to begin with. I always meet far more enthusiastic war-mongers in the UK than in the USA:

So the American people are not actually opposed to American involvement Ukraine, but you think they will be before too long. And so, presumably, they are flocking to support Trump because he represents something they will believe in the future.

As I said above, I believe that Trump will win the election because Biden started a war with Russia.

There are plenty of Democrats who will not vote for Biden because of the war--his recent use of cluster bombs caused particular revulsion. And there are now plenty of Republicans who oppose it too. Even the war-mongers are blaming Biden for NATO's defeat. Together I think it's more than enough to ensure another Trump victory.

Several of the Republican candidates are strongly opposed to the war, and to the Quisling regime in Kiev. Ramaswany is now calling Zelensky a Nazi:
