'he considered' past tense. From what he was telling me the 'you are stronger and more likely to cause damage' stuff was part and parcel with the 'triggers' thing. Blokes well out of order but he is paying for it AND engaging with the anger management enough that he is considering his own behaviour and emotions. I see a normal lively teenager who lost it because he has poor emotional control and is now trying to rectify that. Shame it took a judicial court and a battered partner to get him there. But god willing, we might have a nice lad. Certainly came across as gentle and ashamed. Some people glory in their physical superiority- I think this one likes his muscles but hadn't considered what they can do beyond hoying weights and lifting beams on site. Now he has a six day week, one of them unpaid cos its community, no mrs and sessions spent thinking about why he is how he is and how to stop it.

a fair shake, imo. He's 19 but that impulse control belongs to a 12 yo. And he is trying.
