I'm not setting one against another, I'm merely point out how serious the problem is.
The jist of Ellen article is that FOM violence is not as bad as MOF violence, that men are stronger etc, etc!!
There is nothing confused about what I'm saying.

Yes i have. I know that they can indicate a range of things - the one above indicates solidarity for example. I'm asking you what the one you posted is supposed to symbolise. Not to ask me "have you never encountered a clenched fist before". What does the pic you posted mean?
