To be fair, four years ago half of liberal Twitter went 'oh no the Russians must have hacked the election!' followed by a campaign to get electoral college voters to not vote for Trump (and there were the largest number of faithless electors in over a century) which was fucking ridiculous then and some of us said so.

The election was followed by a years-long investigation that confirmed the Russians had launched a massive hacking campaign to interfere with the election and resulted in charges against at least 34 people, tbf. The Trump craziness seems a bit like a cargo cult version of the 2016 investigation.

They found that the Russian hackers would have been able to change voter data, and concluded that Moscow's military intelligence unit "intended to exploit vulnerabilities in the election infrastructure during the 2016 elections and, for unknown reasons, decided not to execute those options.”

But I remember a lot more talk about election fraud in 2016 coming from Trump himself, who claimed that he would have won the popular vote as well the Electoral College if there hadn't been "millions of illegal votes" cast for Hillary Clinton. The president-elect is always called the president-elect when the race has been called, not when the Electoral College formalities are completed - why should that change just because Loser Donald Trump's psychological problems make it impossible for him to acknowledge he's a loser?

It was stunning to watch and a lot to take in - I’ll have to watch it again to get a full understanding of the key points.

But, at this early point I’d say that this is devastating news for Biden and has potential massive implications in lots of other aspects.
