That's awesome stuff. I did a work trip to Belgium last year and despite sending a few days there, had so little of my own time. Ran into a tiny basket and filled a basket almost at random and was very pleased to get that.
Me lager, finchy lager, Gareth... lager, sometimes cider. So, different drinks for different needs

I've been drinking too much very ordinary supermarket beer lately, so treated myself to this out of my secret stash. Brewed in 2015. I've got one bottle left of this, which will be kept well beyond the stated best before date (next month). It'll be even better in another 5 years.
It was a glass of red wine, Rioja. Just the one, unfortunately

It's called Perry. "Pear cider" is Perry.
"Pear cider" is a foul creation of marketing types who wanted to sell perry, but were worried people wouldn't know what it was.

I used to be a real ale purist, but I am now a big fan of some craft beers. However, I am increasing incredulous, at some of the creations craft brewers come up with with. I do still like my beer to taste vaguely like beer.
Not knocking it, just not for me!

Isn't perry brewed from pears whereas pear cider is cider flavoured with pears? What I always thought anyhow.
