I'm testing the wine box I bought earlier. I never normally buy boxes, but with Christmas looming and possibly economic disruption coming up a couple of boxes of Sainsbury's merlot seemed like a sensible investment. It's not bad, actually. Not that I ought to be drinking wine on a Sunday night

Bit late posting this, but had this last night. Its rare I throw beers away but it was grim. Its a shame as most of theirs are great (I didn't buy it. It was an Xmas present)

Ophir gin & tonic.

I first tried this gin in Oct as I bought a bottle for bargain £11 but moaned it tasted like drinking an Indian curry but when I had none left I missed it & was glad to receive another bottle for xmas.

No mistaking it’s an acquired taste.

OK I got some Old Bakery Gin for Xmas - I suspect it is massively fucking expensive.

The gift bag included 2 bottles of tonic, an ordinary tonic and a pink peppercorn tonic. I really wasn't sure about the peppercorn one, opened it up to give it a try, but OMFG it is the best thing ever and goes perfectly with the gin.

Seriously a big fan now of peppercorn tonic with my gin, it took me completely by surprise because I was not expecting to like it but it is fucking amazing!
