Some thoughts from users of the Vivino app on this vintageToday's bottle hails from the Languedoc-Roussillon region of Southern France, has a cork and is a mere ten years old .. and unlike some St Emilion that I previously kept a bit too long, this has either retained or acquired the complex "cellar mould" flavour that slightly dominates the tannin and acidity - very well-rounded...
It works very well with the 3 day old veggie and bean stew that was heavy on umami thanks to miso, kelp and dried shiitake mushrooms.
