Forgot to tell you about Tuesday. We found the only vegan/veg-friendly chippy in Whitby, where they don't cook dirty Yorkshire chips, and had a mushy pea fritter in a delicate batter with a garlic dip and chips, perched on someone's back step next to the river, with 5 cats eyeing us up in the dark.

He's off playing a gig tonight, so it's lemon and coriander salmon for one, with a buttery baked spud, and steamed baby corn and sugar snap peas. Bit of salad too.

I'm in a bit of a low energy mode atm (exhausted myself cleaning windows the day before) so last night after sleeping for 14 hours I got up and had a chicken and mushroom pot noodle, a small bag of Walkers French Fries (salt & vinegar) and 4 Maryland cookies.

I've made a mild beef mince chilli with refried beans, rice, green salad and avocado and corn chips in the shape of a bowl so you can scoop it all up. Also got green salsa and aoli mayo.
