Aldi and Lidl is very probably the originals with different labels, or occasionally with slightly different ingredients, do you really think they have their own factories? I used to work at Premier Brands back in the day and I can assure you the only difference between Hartley and supermarkets one stuff was the sodding label, cos I worked on the label machine
All those caterpillar cakes?? Same factory
I am really miffed that Lidl has become so popular, I liked it more before everyone in the town with cafes/B&B, etc started using it as a cash and carry. It's rarely quiet now
Between bread and beer, I practically live on the stuffThe thing that's put me off trying Marmite is that I don't fancy the idea of eating yeast.
Not long to wait now...I appreciate that advice. My marmite is being delivered in two days
Before bcuster realises they've made a terrible mistake. Not long to wait now...
Do you like beer, bread, wine, pizza, yoghurt…?The thing that's put me off trying Marmite is that I don't fancy the idea of eating yeast.
Isn't yoghurt made with lactobacilli?Do you like beer, bread, wine, pizza, yoghurt…?
Some also use yeast, articulately probiotic ones.Isn't yoghurt made with lactobacilli?
What about when old marmite around the rid welds the lid shut and you have to run it underva hot tap after almost deflecting the palm of your hand trying to get the lid off.the worst that will happen to it is some salt crystals might form in it after a year or two.

I got mine on Amazon. $7US. I've never seen it in a store anywhere hereOk I'm going to take up the challenge. I'll vaguely have a look for Marmite in the shops around here and if I ever see it I'll get it. Maybe not today. Maybe not tomorrow, but soon and for the rest of my life I will eat Marmite and cheese toasties.

I did just as instructed. Spread it thinly on toasted bread. I really liked it. My wife, however had no interest in trying any...
TBH, I used bread that was almost stale, because if I didn't like it I was going to throw it away. It would probably taste even better on fresh bread, which I'll purchase this weekend...
Just lick some bin juice - that'll taste exactly the same.Ok I'm going to take up the challenge. I'll vaguely have a look for Marmite in the shops around here and if I ever see it I'll get it. The viscosity is affected a lot by the ambient temperature.I got mine on Amazon. $7US. I've never seen it in a store anywhere here

The only issue that I had was the vscosity. More like honey than the peanut butter I was expecting , so I made a bit of a mess

They didn't.Did the instructions not specify butter as well? They should have done.
I am very happy for you, anyway.
I'm concerned that you know what bin juice tastes like.Just lick some bin juice - that'll taste exactly the same.
