Small is currently using every trick in the book not to eat her tea, so far she has been too hot, too itchy, her dinner is too hot, she doesn't like potatoes, she needs a poo and now she is sea sick.

We still have some of the cod pillau from y/day, but not enough (#hash), so we’re adding a cpl of frozen Youngs’s bubble batter cod portion thingys.

I will of course be making a bubble batter cod cod pillau and cheese hunk and hummus sangwich from this.

Tonight was the final Gousto thing, a black bean and vegetable curry. Looked nasty but tasted nice.

The one with broccoli? If so good flavours but I’m so over broccoli & definitely no place in a curry!

Apparently I have no rice in the house at all except some boil in the bag Uncle Ben's best before 2009. I must have had too much self respect to eat it. So the curry I was going to have got put back in the freezer and I ordered from Wagamama via Deliveroo as I have never tried it. Had a seitan katsu curry (ok but rather a lot of seitan that wasn't nice enough to eat that much of) and bang bang cauli which was nicer.

This reminded me why I normally only order from local places I know and like. And of Biddlybee's observation that most takeaways are expensive and disappointing.

That’s the one. I didn’t mind the broccoli as it provided a contrast in texture. I didn’t bother with the food processor step.

Pork chops marinating in cider and cloves. Cooked in the slow cooker then flashed under the grill.

With mustard mash, peas and cider gravy.

I’m sure I read somewhere sometime that comparatively to other pop drinks it’s the worst of them all, shame really cos it is lovely.

I’m trying to encourage a Lebanese delivery tonight but looks like we’re leaning to soup with veg and hummus.
