Knocked up a bacon / chorizo / leek / spicy bean / pepper / tomato / celery combo. With a ciabatta bread.

The £5.50 Merlot is open.

Pork joint (marinaded in jerk spices for 30hrs & roasted this morning) cut into slices, served with spicy gravy (made from marinade), crackling, mange tout sautéed in butter and a mango, onion, lime juice and scotch bonnet salad.
Just finished it and have a good sweat going on

It's a red dinner night, so it could be anything I have got to start writing what it is before it goes in the freezer. Oh and tuna sandwich for me.

Cheese baked Basa (whatever that is) with Mediterranean vegetables

Gousto dish I’ve adapted by removing the potatoes.

Didn't grate the cheese as no grater so it’s just crumbled cheese.

Not a massive fan of these meal kits so far given all the packaging

Pork loin steaks with a lot of ginger, garlic, spring onions, chilli, mushrooms, red peppers, green beans, soy sauce etc. Plain rice.

I had it once or twice many years ago when it was more commonly sold as "River Cobbler" (I presume the marketing folks decided that wasn't an attractive name to customers and started referring to it by one of its other names, Basa) and wasn't impressed with either the texture or flavour, so have avoided it since.

It is good for fish curries though, holds its shape well and takes on the sauce nicely.

Yeah that was pretty much my conclusion, fish curries where the sauce does most of the talking

More bloody basa, this time with a Caribbean twist with a sweet potato mash as prescribed by Gousto

I don’t have a potato masher so considering baking them instead, if I use them at all as avoiding carbs where possible.

Was going to have another pork steak, but some idiot didn't shut the fridge door properly when he was making his tea this morning and it's been open all day and is no longer cold am utterly fucking fuming tbh. Not worth risking food poisoning.

So it will have to be something from the freezer, maybe a chicken kiev, hope I have some spuds left.

Oooh I've just spotted a fresh baguette in the bread bin, I think I'll have a chicken kiev, a big fuckoff salad (with the rest of my feta if it is still good), and the baguette with a shit load of butter.
