What's for tea tonight? (#8)

dessiato - Having put a bit more thought into it, I'd be inclined to base a pasta dish using those ingredients on a diavolo style sauce (tomato-based and spicy) and serve with pappardelle (I know you want a flat pasta to make fresh with your pasta machine and that is a nice robust ribbon style pasta for those ingredients).
 
Mrs D wants to cook a etouffee. I think there might be a bit of a challenge over who cooks today.

Ooh I like a nice etouffee, what is the main ingredient going to be? salivates and checks where the nearest defibrillator is located

We just do rice with it. IIRC you gave us the recipe earlier in this thread.

I'm having the chorizo and morcilla for lunch, and etouffee tonight.
 
Nice, yeah I think plain rice goes well with it as the etoufee is pretty rich!

And yes we did have a conversation about this a few weeks ago, ty for reminding me! I love Cajun and Creole food.
