dessiato - Having put a bit more thought into it, I'd be inclined to base a pasta dish using those ingredients on a diavolo style sauce (tomato-based and spicy) and serve with pappardelle (I know you want a flat pasta to make fresh with your pasta machine and that is a nice robust ribbon style pasta for those ingredients).

We just do rice with it. IIRC you gave us the recipe earlier in this thread.

I'm having the chorizo and morcilla for lunch, and etouffee tonight.

Nice, yeah I think plain rice goes well with it as the etoufee is pretty rich!

And yes we did have a conversation about this a few weeks ago, ty for reminding me! I love Cajun and Creole food.

We were going to have paella but we couldn’t really be arsed and we’ve had a lot of meat and rich meals this week. I’ve just got back from the beach which has really made me fancy chippy chips. I might just have a chip butty and curry sauce.
