What's for tea tonight? (#8)

Sri Lankan beetroot curry, aloo gobi, possibly chilli tofu, kachumber, raita and either rice or naan (depending on if there are naans in the freezer).

Fuck knows what the kids are having.

UPDATE! This was a total triumph. Swapped the aloo gobi for a halloumi/cauliflower/cashew nut curry, and went with rice. Very glad I forgot to have lunch now.

The kids had breaded chicken, rice and cauliflower.

I bloody love paprika, I can smell it through the house right now. 😊

This stuff is amazing, well worth a visit if you're ever in Anglesey

Tonight I'll be doing the fry up that I ended up not cooking last night because I was feeling too tired (had some spinach and ricotta tortellini with red pesto out of a jar instead!)

I was invited to dine at my neighbour's* tonight, but he has gone quiet - usually I am told what time to arrive etc.

Suspect he is still in bed / failed to organise food.

* See Christmas Bust-up thread.

I may have to make my own arrangements, i.e. leftover chicken cacciatore, and all the booze to be swigged solo.

I had:

Baked potato
Dressed with artichoke oil (from the Seggiano roasted artichoke jar)
Smothered with black beans that had been, cooked with
Cashew nuts, onion, osemary, celery seed, Herbs de Provence, served with
Cave-aged goat’s cheese *
Braised chicory
Broccoli
Capers

Red wine

And for pud I had:
Apple crumble made by a friend but too sweet for me so with added
Stewed rhubarb
Vanilla yoghurt

Roibosh and Tulsi tea

* Beans then cheese
