What's for tea tonight? (#8)

Chicken, onion, peppers, sweetcorn, mushroom, salsa done quickly in the wok with some fajita seasoning.

Quick easy meal for a wet Friday

Eggs last for ages, so you don't have to use them yet. (You don't need to put them in the fridge either)
I always use them by the date as I've had food poisoning from eggs before so not something I want to repeat. I've boiled them up so they're OK for tomorrow. And eggs live in the fridge - that's what normal people do - the Egg Council or whoever they are agree with that.

Thursday - leek and potato soup
Fri - curries... chickpea & tomato, broccoli & coconut and chilli paneer with rice and aubergine chutney
Sat - chicken, paneer and veg satay skewers with a rice/sweetcorn/carrot/tomato/spring onion salad and some extra satay sauce
Today - fish & veg/Fry's chicken style strips & veg filo pies with tenderstem broc
Warm peach and white choc cake with ice cream for pudding.

You are allowed guests, Badgers ?! Me and my lass are arranging to meet outside for a very wet and windy walk tomorrow :D No indoorsy mixing for dirty Northerners.
:D

It but once or twice a year that guests cross my borders. Rolled out the red carpet for her last night. Old socialist mate I collected at the Beautiful Days festival. Her cheating cunt ex husband is causing her grief and she is coping with a new job, autistic/hormonal teenage son and rebellious 10 (going on 15) yo daughter

So waited on her hand and foot last night. Decent three course meal and a lot of listening. Should do more of this sort of thing really.

Bloody hell those eggs taste lovely - Cracklebean eggs from M & S. Definitely better than your average free range eggs. Hard boiling them didn't result in the weird blue ring which always puts me off.
:(
When they have finished cooking, take them out of the hot water. Result: no blue line. You can put them in cool water if you like.
