US election 2020 thread

I had the fortune to bump in into Colin the Conspiracy theorist earlier this afternoon who explained from sources, that can’t be named, that January 6th is the big day when Trump gets back in the White House . Despite the deep state the Supreme Court will rule out the false ballots , Trump will be back and arrests and executions will follow. He may have had one or two beers when I met him

they are going to do some form of crazy on Jan 6th - even Trump has been inviting his drones to attend DC on that day

That’s what he mentioned, big rally on that day , Supreme Court announcement about excluding votes previously approved on some election machine that he thinks is dubious as it allows dead people to vote. After that it’s the next step against the unholy and Satanic alliance of Muslims, Jews, Nazis and the Rothchilds , oh and the Jehovah’s Witnesses that I enquired about and also the Buddhists ( apparantly the Dalai Lama is a a known child trafficker) . Plus the CIA, FBI and the so called Child Protection Agency . So all in all quite a big job . I did try to reassure him that Jose Mourinho when he managed Inter Milan despite the odds beat both Barcelona and Bayern Munich to win the Champions League but he’s not into football . Said I’d try and meet him again Jan 7th.

:D:D

The truth, they can't handle it etc.
He's a nice bloke underneath it all if you can avoid the conspiracy stuff but I was out for a beer and after 15 mins thought I'll strap in for the ride.He kept saying i was laughing at him , he can get a bit irate at times, but I told him whilst I didn't agree with him I was interested in what he had to say. Safe to say the beer made the conversation even better. He's also seen UFOs.

He's also seen UFOs.

Of course he has.

Having said this I think that sad to say if we ignore or ridicule people like this entirely we are missing out on a chunk of politically motivated people who may sometimes switch to a more radically useful mode. Not normally though, normally they're lost.

I think the danger there though (and what has often actually happened) is that they're too tolerated and worthwhile stuff gets infested with them. I'd rather they be mocked too much than treated as being essentially on 'our' side if a little eccentric tbh.

Kyle Rittenhouse being listed as one of the stars of the movement is the bit that still gets to me.
I'd missed that. But I suppose that's unsurprising in some ways, whereas the thought of someone going "what's some good patriotic imagery? I know, skyscrapers getting blown up, all True Americans love it when that happens" is a bit more... inexplicable?

It’s a Die Hard reference (not that I’ve ever seen any of the films!)
