The President of the USA is awake and retweeting the most batshit insane website, stuffed full of the actually dangerous kind of conspiracism - New World Order, covid is a globalist hoax perpetrated by Soros to enslave humanity etc.
That man needs to be removed from social media now, imo. Theres no longer any sense to the idea that what he says is newsworthy.

Even though its "over" and Biden will be inaugurated president 100% no matter what, it is still mind bogglingly insane how deep they're going with this and the long term damage to the country's already badly fractured social and cultural landscape is going to be felt for decades. This stuff isn't going away, it just keeps getting worse every year

the effort and earnestness that gone into that gibbering lunacy is quite something. its counter intuitive but I think the incoherence of all the alt right conspiracy stuff actually makes it harder to counter - you're playing whack-a-mole with a never ending barrage of wild assumptions, blatant untruths and paranoid unrealities.
 
its like "where's the evidence for the election being rigged"? And the answer is - because trump lost, which is impossible so it must have been a fix. So the batshit brigade will accept any amount of spiralling conspiracy bobbins about deep state, fake ballots, chavez controlled voting machines, thousands of officials being bought off etc etc rather than countenance the simple fact that he got less votes. And the fact that he lost (or "lost") is further proof of how its because he is fighting against the evil forces of globalist, padeo-ring, zionist socialism - otherwise why would they have taken such trouble and effort to rig the election?
 
The president promoting open adherents to QAnon, repeatedly, in these last couple of weeks, and nobody seeming to saying much about it seems pretty ominous to me. FBI called it a domestic terrorism threat & congress passed a law condemning it not long ago but that seems to have been a pointless gesture.

Of the “elite strike force” of lawyers who have had the microphone all month, Sidney Powell, Lin Wood, even Guiliani according to this - all of them are mired in that utterly crazy parallel universe where democrats and soros want to harvest your children.

Imagine if Johnson was actively amplifying the idea that Labour and a load of random celebs & Jews are involved in a satanic paedophile ring though, and a fair chunk of your neighbours were lapping it up. It would be pretty scary, imo.

Absolutely, since Brexit the number of people who have suddenly become politically active in right wing groups and causes is shameful.
People I thought reasonable would now consider attacking others for their political views and threatening migrant workers.
The mob do not need much encouragement. I hoped I had seen the last of this bollocks in the seventies following Rock Against Racism and the ANL. Those like Trump and Farage are just playing to the baying crowd. It’s so disheartening to see.
