US election 2020 thread

It's just a fuckup, someone's got the address wrong, circulated it, then Giuliani has just had to front it out like when auld fellas trip and turn it into a little run to make it seem like they meant it.
Rumour has it , that Giuliani is still there ......in the dildo shop $100 joe booths

Not a single mention of Spaceforce kommandant pence in the news (that I've heard) Its like he never existed

And I wasn't one of those people with the memes Danny
I didn’t say you were.

This is one of those times we need to see everyone’s face. Written communication is too open to misunderstanding without it.

Also, people aren’t having dialogues here, we’re having multilogues, so it’s perfectly reasonable to make points that aren’t just for one person.

Dunno whether it's pure coincidence but every time I see some fakery from social media posted on here like it's legit it's you that's posted it.
Well as it is legit you can stuff it in your pipe & smoke it.

ETA they were playing the clip on Radio 5Live this morning.

If you mean Van Jones, you might want to go back and have a little think about what it's been like for certain Americans over the last few years in Trump's America
That's the guy.

It's real, but it's being posted as if he said it yesterday when it's from months ago (the Iowa Democratic Primaries by the looks of the posters).

I don't doubt Biden's election will have an impact on the brexit negotiations, but you can't assume a throwaway joke by a potential candidate for president months ago is the settled view of the actual President Elect today.

I remember celebrating the death of Franco. I didn't celebrate the eventual replacement of the current Spanish Republic, but I still know which of the two regimes I would rather live under.
I celebrated the end of the poll tax, even though I didn't celebrate the introduction of the council tax.
If I am lucky I will celebrate Christmas this year, even though I'm an atheist, there may just be the two of us, my oldest friend died of Covid, my mum's slowly becoming demented and a close relative recently tried to kill himself.
Oh, and I raised a glass to the demise of Trump.
What's difficult to understand about that?

You can assume what you like. Do you regard what you posted months ago as not relevant?

& it is not fake. So you can stick it in your pipe too.

Depends what you mean by fake. It's not particularly recent. And it doesn't change the fact that you're a credulous twat who spams every other thread in politics with glib liberal tweets. Thankfully, most of your posts on these boards now simply read 'this tweet has been deleted'.

Yes I know what I said.

What you said is I said is we should celebrate a new liberal President.

And that is bullshit my friend.

If you're having problems with working out how people celebrated Trump losing without that meaning a celebration of Biden winning, that's your problem to work out. Maybe you could have a discussion meeting about it. Invite the millions of people along who celebrated exactly in this way. Then you can tell them all why they are wrong and you are right.

Good luck.

I am of course relieved Trump lost, but I don't share the celebratory or victory mood. This will be a brief breather rather than the end to the worlds populist political woes. Even if Biden were a stronger candidate, he inherits a mass of problems, to do with the Trump-fallout and with the pandemic and his inability to solve them, will turn voters against him by the time the next election comes round. Fuck knows what horror show the republicans will have lined up by then. The "Denmark mink farm" calamity has been taking up more of my attention than the US election to be honest. This has the potential of causing us way more pain over the next few years than Trump.

No it's been posted as if it's recent and it isn't. January from what people are saying which as you will know is a fucking lifetime ago.

There are other things coming out of China too which demand attention

The world's fubar and likely to continue that way

The Affordable Care Act goes back to the Supreme Court on Tuesday and presumably Trump does not now have to magic up the replacement he promised if re-elected ...
