US election 2020 thread

California was called one second after voting ended.
postal votes were counted before election day there. Probably just a case of pressing a button on a computer to tabulate the results (this is not allowed until the polls close). other states aren't allowed to do that - hence what is now happening. And it's mostly republicans who insist on no precounting.

But JTG's probably right. They've just forgotten to bother to call it.

in that batch, split is 23.7 trump, 76.3 Biden. That’s the sort of numbers they need isn’t it?

It's plenty more than enough
 
Why? I mean there is little chance of it going republican but I know for a fact there's a not insubstantial number of trump fans there
4m of them so far. However there's 8m Biden fans at latest count - that's why it gets called early and nobody mentions it ever again other than to note its impact on the popular vote margin
