For work? Yes if May has her way. We're talking about people travelling for work here not going on holiday.Does anyone seriously think visas are going to be required for travel in Europe, after brexit?

depends if may imposes them on people coming here - when i went to russia for my holiday i had to get a visa which putin started after our government forced russians coming here to get one.Does anyone seriously think visas are going to be required for travel in Europe, after brexit?
But do you think that will actually be the outcome i.e. lots of bureaucracy, costly visas etc? Isn't it more likely that the uk and eu, regardless of which dickheads are in power, will come to some kind of agreement around this, just as they will around other forms of trade. I'm not dismissing the issue and agree it will have an impact, but there's an element of catastrophizing here.Ever toured Europe in a band before it was open borders? I did and it was a fucking pain and if we end up having to get visas - like we do for America - then it will absolutely become financially unsustainable for small bands to play Europe and vice versa.
And the impact is already being felt for bands coming into the UK

Fucking liberal bigotry.
This isn't a travel issue, but a working issue, which is different obvsDoes anyone seriously think visas are going to be required for travel in Europe, after brexit?
Don't really care much what they think, tbh.Sorry but The Sleaford Mods want out too.
But no one actually knows for sure, and that's the point. But do you think that will actually be the outcome i.e. lots of bureaucracy, costly visas etc? You called for everyone on here to boycott Pimlico Plumbers because of the owner. You didn't think about the plumbers livelihoods then did you? It's not about them, you idiot. It's about the bands, promoters, roadies and all the other people whose livelihood depends on being able to play, promote and sell music abroad.
Don't really care much what they think, tbh.
This is about musicians, not tourists.Does anyone seriously think visas are going to be required for travel in Europe, after brexit?

Geldof can be an arse but he's bang on about this. I can remember touring Europe when we had to fuck about with carnets at border checks and it was a right pain in the arse.
‘Cultural jail’: Brexit could bring booming industry to its knees
tbf the main stated remain reason was 'the economy' so I can just assume a victory for remain would have been an affirmation of the internationalism of business and the solidarity of alright jacks. I won't though because I think things are little more complex than that when it comes to individual voter choicesAh 'Take back control'. Take back control of what, exactly? Well, among other things of course, and perhaps top of the list, borders. Or do you think most people were more concerned about regulations on the quality of cheese? Either way, this vote was a victory for nationalism.
Do they regularly form groups and go on tour around Europe then? You called for everyone on here to boycott Pimlico Plumbers because of the owner. You didn't think about the plumbers livelihoods then did you?
Can you spell patronising cunt?I think a large percentage of 'out' voters didn't consider the ramifications, and of those, a large percentage probably couldn't spell ramifications.
it depends also in part whether more leavers have died than remainers gained the vote - whether the demographics have changed to any appreciable extent.
but the core point which most remainers/2nd reffers haven't grasped is that it is perfectly possible for the second referendum to repeat the result of the first. how many 3rd reffers would there really be?
LOL. Sleaford Mods vs. Peter Gabriel.
What a ridiculous bunfight it all is.
Is he 'bang on' about it?
Or is he just positioning himself to record a Stop Brexit celebfest single in time for Christmas?
Let's be honest here, he wants to record a Stop Brexit single for Christmas.
A new song paying homage to the Common Agricultural Policy: 'Don't Feed The World'.
Really small beer this.Ever toured Europe in a band before it was open borders? I did and it was a fucking pain and if we end up having to get visas - like we do for America - then it will absolutely become financially unsustainable for small bands to play Europe and vice versa.

Its relevant as the man is/was a cunt and not the sort to get away with meddling in our shit.OK, let's talk about what an American musician did over three decades ago in South Africa. Bang on topic for a thread about Brexit.
And do you think your heroes Farage, Johnson and Rees-Mogg would have taken issue with Mr Simon back then? Its relevant as the man is/was a cunt and not the sort to get away with meddling in our shit.
You'd need something like 58%+, 52/48 the other way wouldn't doQuite. You would have to think as well even if it did reverse the result, Farage would be screaming "BEST OF THREE" before Dimblebot had announced the result.
GIVE THEM BACK THEIR SUBSIDIES, don't
FEED. THE. WORLD
LET THEM KNOW YOU CANNOT LEAVE, don't
FEED. THE. WORLD.
You spit in the face of Bob Crow when you splutter that shite.Indeed. It wasn't only racists who voted for Brexit.
Cunts did as well.
Credit goes to Stewart Lee for that one.
You spit in the face of Bob Crow when you splutter that shite.
My heros are Bakunin, Marx, Crow. None of them would have voted for bigger cages and longer chains like you lot.And do you think your heroes Farage, Johnson and Rees-Mogg would have taken issue with Mr Simon back then?
