UK gov to ban porn sites that don't verify users' age

If you're on contract they assume you are over 18, it's literally as far as I'm aware just a case of going to a website and clicking enable content. At least that's what I've had to do with EE, o2 and 3 in my various network hops.

New rules mean you will need to sign up to watch porn

Who's gonna be the first to get their porn passport, then?

Ffs, this is annoying.

I currently use incognito to browse my porn, so that I'm never using my laptop with someone else in the room and I start to type in www.youtube.co..... and in the dynamic suggestions comes up with www.pormhub.com/young_cuck_gets_strapon_fucked_by_black_shemale_dominant or whatever my personal predilictions are - I'm not outing them to you lot, but I assure you they are far more embarrassing than the above...:D).

I'm gonna have to have a separate porn browser or something, aren't I? This could get messy. It will certainly be a ball-ache.

I have VPN. I can fap away no problemo, tho porn only happens in the once in a blue moon i have a drug binge.. Fuck this nazi bullshit btw.

This may or may not be the final straw that forces me to pay for a VPN service, depending on how half-heartedly this ridiculous nonsense is enforced.

Only seems to apply to Pornhub (one of the Net's primary copyright-infringers, who are essentially running this Brexit-level farce on behalf of the Vicar's Daughter PLC) and the none remaining pay-for sites who didn't move to Holland/US when the old 'no face-sitting, no spanking, no female-nutting etc' rules came in a couple of years ago

Guaranteed to fix the problem. No kids will ever get around this! UK porn ban to come into effect in July

Reading the BBC story seems to suggest they aren't going to stipulate how the age check is performed. So I predict we will get those 'confirm your age' pop ups that you get on some movie trailer sites or on vape sites. They don't actually verify anything at all. You can enter what you want. Also says that they will be able to block sites but won't be imposing the £250k fines that were first touted about. Because once you block sites, there's no way round that. :D:rolleyes::thumbs:
