He did actually. It was a dignified speech.Mogg showed humanity?
So cunt beats cuntTraditionsl Unionist Voice (Reform-like headbangers) have beaten Ian Paisley's son for the DUP in North Antrim
Although my primary reaction is vote how you feel, there's a whole swathe of traditionally tory constituencies in the home counties and the south of England where there's no way Labour will ever get an MP in, so the question is for anyone vaguely left of centre is, is it worth gritting your teeth a bit harder and voting Lib Dem just to send a warning shot across the Tory bow and get the fuckers out? From the results I’ve skimmed it looks like tactical voting hasn’t done too well, too many places with a sizeable Lib Dem vote that would easily have put Labour over the line. Fuck their bar chart skullduggery.
Hopefully that's literal and not an idiom.Truss "on a knife edge" says the beeb
Should that not be a salad shredder?Truss "on a knife edge" says the beeb
Yes thought that as i posted itHopefully that's literal and not an idiom.
I wonder if Reform has gone easy on campaigning in the seats held by the worst Tory MPs? Anyhow, fingers crossed that her husband does less well in Shipley.Esther mcvey held on
Compare Mogg speech to Shapps.
I had a long hard think on this subject in a thread I started on tactical voting and decided I wanted a non Tory MP where I live more than anything and voted accordingly (lib Dem)Although my primary reaction is vote how you feel, there's a whole swathe of traditionally tory constituencies in the home counties and the south of England where there's no way Labour will ever get an MP in, so the question is for anyone vaguely left of centre is, is it worth gritting your teeth a bit harder and voting Lib Dem just to send a warning shot across the Tory bow and get the fuckers out?
It's far from the case that everywhere with a sizeable Lib Dem vote, Labour might have got in if it wasn't for tactical voting, those Lib Dem votes would have gone to Tories or Reform or an independent instead.
I wouldn't do it, but my vote would be pissing in the wind, it's not like there's a whole load of people in Godalming and Ash who are dying to vote Labour and tactical voting denied Labour the seat.
He's still an absolute shitbag, trump supporting bellend though. He did actually. It was a dignified speech.
Indeed but I give him credit for his speech. Surely that is worth something..He's still an absolute shitbag, trump supporting bellend though.

Seven at last count IIRCat the start of the night, they said on C4 that only something like 5 sitting cabinet members have lost their seats, ever. Is that right?
I think we've had more than that tonight alone?

Yeah rm will have expected to lose.Sadly, I'm not convinced Rees-Mogg is a Portillo moment.
Braverman would have been the Portillo moment if she'd lost her seat.. She was grinning like the Cheshire Cat during her victory speech. She looks happier than Starmer at this point.
