Agreed and these are some of the reasons for my comment about the win not being deserved.
LRZ is an amazing player. Doesn't make it a good team.
Plus - and I take your earlier point about 1/2p and the kicks - it still felt like Scotland we're getting the line breaks, but I'd need see some stats or watch it all again to confirm. Finally, but for the pass sliding off the chest of the guy in front and then him getting pinged for obstruction, Scotland should have scored another try.
So yeah, didn't feel Wales deserved the win, just because Zammo is incredible.
And yes, for the record, I used to feel the same when Wilkinson would simgle-handedly win games by kicking millions of points. I hate teams built around 1 persons genius.

Dunno. Line breaks and possession only tell part of a story. We were mostly comfortable without the ball and our scramble defence (mostly) dealt with the breaks. Appreciate the point that Scotland nearly scored another try but y'know, if my aunt had a dick...

We matched them up front, bested them at the breakdown, lineout and maul and achieved parity in the scrums. They walked the aerial battle and as mentioned above had greater possession, territory and clean breaks. However, they didn't convert the latter three into more points, which takes us back to our defence.

I mean, I wouldn't have had any complaints had we lost but really don't think that Scotland were robbed. They lost a tightly contested match on fine margins.

Blimey. Don't forget that Zammit is in direct contention with the air puncher for that wing berth.

Tips also has serious competition in Curry and Watson.

I think Navidi, Tips, Adams, Liam, LRZ, Faletau and AWJ will all tour. Possibly Ellis Jenkins if he recovers to his post injury peak. I'm not certain that any of them will start the tests, though.

I'd agree on the SA anthem, I remember watching an England SA game a few years ago in a pub (not the WC final), the South Africans there were crying their eyes out during the anthem, singing all the verses in the various languages.

The bookies currently have one Welsh starter in the XXIII. There's a few bizarre calls in there (Youngs and Farrell to name but two) but there it is.
