Dylan has done Glastonbury. I was there and he was dire.
Lo fi threatening disco
Dylan played in 1998 on Sunday afternoon. He wasn't at his best and refused to be filmed for some reason. When was this? Did he headline? Are BBC wrong then?
They are pretty out there. I'm picking out all sorts of weird influences.
First time I've really heard them apart from the odd song. They're alright. Good time for them to be on and i'd watch them at this time if there was nowt else I wanted to see. Wouldn't get a ticket specifically for them though.
He did what’s now called the ‘legends’ slot in 1998. He didn’t headline though. And frankly given his performance that day it’s just as well cos he was shockingWhen was this? Did he headline? Are BBC wrong then?
Yeah, that's probably a fair review. So they got Baxter Dury on to do his speaking bit?
I saw them a couple of years ago and they were fucking awful, I saw them again in May and they were brilliant - will definitely be seeing them again when they're next in ManchesterThey're playing Glasgow on a Friday night in November. I can’t imagine that’s why given it was only said in the doc narrated by Edith Bowman as you said. He was just shit that day.Yeah, googled and ringing a bit of a bell now. Have heard he's a moody fecker nowadays, playing live, bastardising his best-known songs with something approaching contempt. However, he played The Hop Farm festival at Detling in 2005/6(?) and I asked a devout fan who attended if this was the case. He said no: was proper Dylan and excellent.
Perhaps he didn't like the 'First Jew' branding.
Wee bit of Loyle Carner now.
Quite impressed, nice and chilled. Plus he has his I HATE BORIS t-shirt. Someone has to put together a vid of all the Boris hate from Glastonbury this year.
I've enjoyed all his songs I've heard before hearing him live. His delivery is in the exact same voice as his talking voice. Love it, no bells and whistles just really chilled hip hop story telling... and that's from someone who's not that into hip hop.
Miley Cyrus doing Led Zep and Metallica covers is pretty unexpected
She has recorded with The Flaming Lips before, so fair to assume she is a bit freaky.
What you on about she's great
Each to their own, more of a fan o Billy Ray's stuff myself. What you on about she's great
Blasting the Chemical Brothers set, what a show!
