Glastonbury 2019

My missus (aka The Baroness) is literally bouncing around the room to The Killers set. I've never seen her move so much.

I have no time for them but it pleases me that this music touches her soul because that's what it's meant to do.

For every 10000 people that hate them, there's one person who's music has saved that person's life. So all good with me.

Liked for second paragraph.
:D

:) I wasn't trying to be snobby. If it speaks to you, then it's all good. I even forgive Ms Idaho for liking Dido (well at least I don't remark aloud).

(((Glastonbury thread)))

I don't hate them, just found them a bit meh.

Always a huge fan of whatever floats your boat when it comes to music,

Kendrick Lamar got a white girl out of the audience to rap with him on his song MAAD city. The intro contains loads of N-words. The crowd turned on her bwoi. He had to kick her off stage.
A sizeable section of the black community will not accept a white person saying it under any circumstances

No idea wtf you’re on. Gromit (ffs) is more on the ball than you are.

Found that mark Ronson song with JEBBA. It's not like his old stuff, it's like Massive Attack v good Moby v Mark Ronson and I must have listened to it twenty times tonight. Stick the headphones on and turn it up yo eleven. The Baroness can strut her stuff to the Killers but I'll dad dance to this

I do like those top of the festie performance with the BBC. Found Courtney Barnett that way and I saw that Ronson one and quite like it myself. Although his weird wig moment in that gig earlier was a bit odd.

Lizzo was fucking amazing. As a 48 year old I had no idea who she was but she put a massive smile on my face with some witty lyrics and a stage show that made me go "oh yeah"

To anyone there, is the increase of BAME performers on the main stages changed the demographics? No digs meant. It is a very British white middle class tradition.
