Glastonbury 2014

:D The Great wall of Vagina is going to be part of the Harvey Nipples thing at Glasto.

I love this post! mainly because I'm not sure which bit will contain meerkats but I'll come along to find out

They're currently in my bedroom, but soon to be packed in the van. See this as a *good thing*, because they were nearly torched last year, shortly before - Monday night wind down - ruby cooked an egg using a hamster. Or something like that. I'd probably fallen in the fire by that point.

I am not packed but have nearly everything. Just have to buy some new walking socks, sun tan lotion and rum and then I'm good to go

I've not even had time to think about this yet

For added fun, on Monday I have to drive straight from the festival to Harrogate for a conference, then when that finishes on Thursday, I'm heading straight down to Stevenage for Sonisphere.

Quite looking forward to turning up at the (relatively) posh hotel in Harrogate still covered in my Glastonbury dust / mud.... "where are the showers?" :D

I'm not even contemplating leaving site until Tuesday!
Jealous of Soni. But I get carnival instead

We've already got plenty of clean clothes ready, and festivaldeb's done a cider/beer run to the shops already

But we won't be packing properly until tomorrow morning. Ought to be in Glastonbury town by 2 pm-ish (?) on Friday all the same :)

Has anyone got an old dumb phone I can use for the duration? My smart one has decided to start being dodgy and it eats battery anyway...

Omg, 5 sleeps!!

Ok, got an air bed now. I'm also wondering whether to revive my old stag tent and take that. It was a bit leaky in heavy rain so I'd have to have the pop up in the car in case it pisses down. It would be really nice to have a more roomy tent.

I'll get them both out at the weekend and decide.

For those with shower access, Poundland had 24 sachets of shampoo/conditioner. Much easier than lugging a bottle.

can't you get a can of that spray sealant stuff and as long as it's dry when you put it up give it a good spray? that's what we did with bees' tent one year when we noticed it leaking the trip before and it was perfect :)

have a great time everyone :)

From memory, it leaked on the seams. Will the sealant still work?

We need to get it out anyway, I have no idea what condition it's in. I've tried to buy another for ages but can't find one. Why Blacks, why? :(

Yep that's what it's for :) Given is a bloody good spray and leave to dry and it should be OK :)

I bought two bottles of rewaterproofer the other day with the intention of putting up the tents to spray them. But it's been too damn hot so I'll spray them on location at the weekend instead.
