i gots a spare battery, still its quite a big ask of the phone to last 5 days if your taking lots of pics and posting stuff on the internet and tings.

should be fine for calling and texting and maybe the odd cheeky look at the sports headlines but much behond that and im running the risk of having to queue.

Quick question regarding searches on the gate. I'm flying down and will therefore not be carrying anything at all of "interest". I appreciate that if I refuse to be searched, they'll not let me in, but hypothetically, can I take a photo of the of the searcher and the searching they do just to ensure everything is above board? Or possibly get a copper as a witness?

I've got nowt to hide and therefore nowt to fear. I just don't fancy the hassle!

I've made a sign for the meetup(s), not exactly the stencil masterpiece i'd hoped, but more in keeping with a festival i reckon. If you wanna look for it, it's blue and grey, with a big sun top right, and the legend 'Baby eating anarchists' (with the 'a' done as a red anarchy symbol for added cheese value).

The only 2 ever glasto's I've done have been 05 and 07, so you can apprecite that items like this ar a foreign concept to me

One thing I would add, is that if you're a space freak like me (i.e. if it isn't foldable, it doesn't go in ), or if space in your carrying implement is restricted, then these fuckers take up "masses", and to which extent can I recommend you just take the lid, and use a bottle of evian* (after you've used it and refilled it - I wasn't suggesting evian is the only suitable water source to spray of course!) as (well, mine does) the tops fit most screw top for drinks etc

Or any other plastic bottled drink

Nah (been avoiding the thread ). Tbh we've not got enough time off work or money as we hadn't planned for it. Which is a shame but such is. Just have to look forward to Endorset instead

when we were up the Tor last night we could see the site... Bizarre just having it at our fingertips, so to speak.

Verdict now is that next year we'll go earlier. Saturday is the new Sunday which was the new Monday etc etc

I'm not sure that taking a full two weeks work off around glasto was such a good idea now

I just got up and my flat looks like a bomb's hit it. There are cans, bottles and general mess everywhere, my head hurts and a good proportion of my Glasto chemicals have been consumed. I think I might have peaked a bit too early

I haven't aired my tent, done my shopping or any sort of packing whatsoever and now I need to clean the flat before heading west first thing tomorrow morning.

I'll have a cup of coffee, brekkie, some neuofen and a ciggie and then get on it.

Will, Debs an I have nearly finished shipping in. Got a lovely spot above the farm, from there we can see most of the site, with a clear view of the Pyramid.

After set up, we'll be visiting Wiskey. We have been promised tea at a table. Oh the decadance.
