Glastonbury 2009

We need some sort of place etc not just "At the bus"
Mystergirl and I were there at the bus last year and didnt meet a single urb....

well there were definitely Urbs at the bus on Wednesday because I was sitting there with mr mania, and I started to say 'Well none of the bastards ahve turned up...' and immediately realised that i had been looking at El jefe and JTG almost in front of me for about an hour but they hadn't infiltrated my tiny little brain

maybe we should have a sign ---or even a flag :D

We did look, honest. We sat there for aaaaages. With cider and everything.

And then we wibbled off to....... errr, somewhere else. :D

Oh we didn't doubt that there were Urbs there, finding them was the problem. A flag would have worked well for us I think. :)

You moving to Glastonbury town fizzer? :)

Maybe I'll see you at the fest for the first time .....

That would be cool!

We've been looking at houses along the wells/street/Glasto laylines the past few months ;) We are negotiating a price on one with views of the Tor...without going into too much detail here, it's all a tad more expensive than we would like to commit to but not impossible...do-able deffo do-able, scary as shit but do-able.

Fingers crossed!

Just thought...

If we do move to glasto...will we get priotity on festy tickets?

From what i know from missys schoolfriends you can apply for free sunday tickets... dependent on your addresss. the details go in the local paper.

If you want to go on the other days you have to buy one, same as everyone else

I think you have to pay for the Sunday ones too but if you live in or around Glastonbury getting tickets is never a problem , everyone knows someone who knows someone . I have friends who live just a couple of miles away from the site and they always sort me out with a ticket .

Well we has flag now courtesy of Middle hissy who sat on my phone rendering us communictionless ( till we bought the flag!)

So It will be adorned with U75 this year ( its a welsh one obv) and hopefully we'll get more peeps to come and say hi!

I can't see how you could be any more specific than that tbh

Maybe not but some of us havent met other urbs before... we were 'at the bus' last year and spotted several groups meeting up but no urbs.. and nothing to allow peeps to recognise people as urbs if they were strangers to them..
Its a little difficult to memorise and recall the whole of the ugly mug thread at will yunno;) esp in the sun after a couple of ciders!

Nice one :)

Maybe penni can stand down from her flag creating duties then ... :p

This is where going up to people and talking to them comes into it's own :p

LMHF & I did debate about wandering up to people and talking to them but there were so many people there that we didnt' know where to start! So we settled for sun, cider, seat and divine intervention. Three out of four ain't bad!!! :D
