Drugs are evil.

In 2004 I double dropped some merchendise that was better than I though and in the middle of a shit braced myself against the walls and had a comming up that was out of this world. Really almost first time comming up it was that good. After a couple of minutes I collected myself and realised where I was experiancing ecstasy. Wrong I tell thee.

While we're on the subject of toilets there will be 100,000 free loo rolls available from the Info points this year.

Not all at once now! :D

I wish seetickets would take the bloody money. It woud seem thousands of peeps (including me) still haven't paid.

there's a rising level of panic around here, so posts like that are somewhat reassuring.

I know I was bickering about people wanting corporate levels of service a page or two back, but not taking the money seems truly odd. It's the exact opposite of what any proper corporate would do- take the money immediately and figure everything else out when it's safely making interest. The festival beancounters must be going apoplectic.

Its about this time every year that I start to get very nervous as everybody starts talking about their ticket success , I get my ticket on a locals allocation from a friend living about 3 miles from Worthy Farm , never failed before but I can`t help wondering how the allocation is going to come through with all the extra restrictions . Don`t worry he says , yeah right.........:(

Is that from the Western Daily Press allocation? I think there's more than one local list, but WDP confirmation was sent before the public sale.

To be honest I don`t even know , I have my registration number , photo , local address etc. but I have always left it up to him before and never had a problem. He assures me that the locals who want to go will definately be OK .
Still doesnt stop me from worrying though.

I don't really either, maybe Tort does. I've always understood there to be a difference between those inside and outside the actual village but the WDP scheme extends for a good few miles around, so perhaps that's a completely different list.

About the last thing Michael is likely to do is upset local people, so I reckon you'll be ok.

Yup, no money gone from my account either. Looks like it's a fair proportion of people so probably nothing to worry about.

Sorry not something I've picked up on I'm afraid.

Re money coming out of people's accounts the banks, See Tickets & GFL all seem to be bickering between one another about whose to blame. Don't panic people.

I phoned them today, and they said the same as last week, 'Don't worry, your bank has authorised the payment, so it'll be fine. We don't know when we're going to take it".

I just had a bit of a panic because for the last week its been showing my available balance as minus the tickets, without the transaction actually appearing on the statement but today its stopped doing that  however I just rang them and she said its been authorised and will be taken out this evening - and if its not gone by tomorrow morning to ring back.

I can see myself checking internet banking quite often this evening...

Oh gawd, I don't like the sound of this payment malarkey... I'm on hols so can't check balance until tomorrow or Friday. Perhaps ignorance is bliss :D

has anyone been on a coach before???

we could only get coach tickets and i'm wondering about how much we can take onto the coach with us/any chance of police searches ? that sort of thing.

any info greatly appreciated.or will the glasto people answer any of my questions closer to the date?

Going on last time, yes. IIRC the "full" sign went up somewhere around 6/7ish.

Please note all statements subject to usual disclaimer*

*ie by this time I was already completely wankered :D

Sorry bees, I think it was full up somewhat earlier than that ...

3 pm should be alright, but it'll be filling up even by then I reckon ...

I'm going to get on site by 11 am to make sure :D

I totally fail to see the fascination with the Dragon Fields.. who gives a fuck.. last time I camped in the middle of god knows where (fortunately not in a pond) and got talking to some nice folk from Leeds. :)

You can take a fair bit with you. A big rucksack for the 'hold' and then as much as you can carry on. No porter's trolleys though. The aisle is usually full of 24-can crates :)

I've never been on a glasto coach that's been searched - only searches have been at the ticket gates.

I like it coz it's handy for LV, Jazzworld and the Green Fields, quiet enough to chill out a bit if you need to, but busy enough to be interesting....

Oh and its not massive like Pennards, so I stand a fighting chance of finding my tent when spannered :D

IIRC (see standard disclaimer again ;) )it was "officially" full earlier but you could still get in, it was only later that they actually stopped people coming in...

I've never made it into the Dragon field to camp. I stayed where the lost vagueness is now in '95 that was  although at 15 and a noob i was wierded out by the travellers! I just try and squeeze into pennards. Although I hear there will be a new camping field this year. Anyone know anything about that? The problem with the dragon field is half of its on a hill!

I luckily managed to buy tickets on the 1st, but my bank rejected the payment. See Tickets said I could have until the 13th (tomorrow) to pay. I've now sorted things out with the bank, but I can't get through to the See Tickets number to make the payment! If I can't get through my tickets will be put back in the pot for resale on the 22nd. I don't know how I'll tell the other people I bought them for if that happens...

Is anyone else in this situation? Any advice?
