Glastonbury 2005

Apologies if this is old news

Check your email junk box!!

I checked my email late last night and fortunately spotted that I had some junk mail. It was from See Tickets, saying that there are insufficient funds blah blah.....I called them on their 24 hour line 0871 22 00 260 (which they answer with the words "Glastonbury Tickets"...(!)) and the woman I spoke to said that this was happening a lot, not worry etc. She put a note onto the computer that I HAD phoned and DO want the tickets, and put me onto their "call back" list. So I'm now waiting to hear from them...

My point is that if I hadn't checked my junk box I would not have known there was a problem, and so not have the chance to sort it out.

Sorry to add to the list of things to worry about.

Glad everybody now seems to be getting sorted. Persistence generally pays off with these guys, although it's absolutely infuriating how inconsistent the messages they give out are.

nnah, don't quite believe that

if only cos i really don't believe Garbage are going to play 3 times - and on two stages at once!

and, i did think Eavis had said he'd never have the Bunnyment back again!

did he really say that about the bunneymen...why? was this after their 2003 appearance

did they play in 2003 as well? it was after 2000 i think - Macca insulting him and the entire place from the pyramid stage. Eavis said he always thought they were shit but only asked them cos they'd headlined in '85 and that they could fuck off in future.

but obviously changed his mind agian.

From what I'v heard on efests there is a lot of truth in that. The reason for the multiple garbage slots is prob cos they havn't decided which slot they will have yet.

I saw them there in 2003

but even just looking at that bit - if true I could relive a scarily vast amount of 1985 again!

Elvis, Bunnymen, Van, even bloody Geldof - Boomtown Rats were the first band I saw, Bob threatening to walk off stage if there were any more mud thrown.

What happened next is pretty bloody obvious! :)

not that I expect anyone to be remotely interested but I can confirm The Scissor Sisters because they have booked to stay at a friends Holiday cottage in Glasto , which they did the year before last as well.
