F1 2019

I'd like to see Russell in a competitive car, I'm sure he is getting the best out of that crap Williams and to beat Kubica 21 to 0 in qualifying shows he is a good driver when you consider Kubica's experience

Alonso being interviewed discusses his future casually mentioning "maybe Formula One in 2021..."

It shows his imagination hasn't atrophied in his year road-testing Ladas, or whatever work he managed to find.

I'd also like to see Lando beat Sainz to make it 11/10 in qualifying for McLaren, don't think it will happen but would be good to see, I like Lando he has a great attitude

Ok guys I'm out of here, got to pick up the old lady and head for a long liquid lunch om the beach. The weather here is wonderful today and the sea look great :) (don't mean to rub it in as I'm guessing it cold over in Europe LOLOLO)

I'm stocked up for the Limejuice challenge tomorrow :thumbs:

Morning Race Fans, last race of the season but looks good, Lewis and Max on the front row with the Ferrari's behind them. Leclerc needing to out-score Max to take 3rd in the drivers championship, so all to race for, with Bottas flying through from the back of the grid.

It looks like it could be the strategy that will win the race with some front runners pitting twice to bring them back into things for the final few laps. I'm guessing that Limejuice is shouting "lets get ready to rumble!!!!" surrounded by booze for his drinking game, we all know how happy he is to see the Americanization of F1 under Liberty Media :):D:facepalm:;)

Who is your rookie of the year?
We had a very long debate about this over a number of beers yesterday afternoon, my choice is Lando Norris, he just beats George Russell because yesterday he won-out against Sainz in their qualifying battle (for me it was really close as they had very different cars). I disregarded Albon as he changed teams and only showed his real potential after joining Red Bull from Toro Rosso and I also left out Antonio Giovinazzi as he raced a couple of times back in 2017 and wouldn't have made the short list this season anyway.

Interesting to read today the Toto is saying his future at Mercedes is tied to if Lewis stays and Lewis saying his future is tied to if Wolff is staying, not sure what that says about the team or too the team but interesting never the less, also it appears that Russell will be splitting his testing between Williams and Mercedes, I"m guessing this is in case Lewis decides to move to Ferrari in 2021 and young Russell could take his seat at Mercedes, he is a signed Mercedes driver we must remember.

There's precious little booze on show here so far. My Mrs has a cousin staying ("Oh, just Saturday night") and I want to make certain I don't send any signals suggesting hospitality.

I am closeted in my office with a big 4K monitor streaming Sky. Also, I have a ton of booze in here.

:)

Oh, goodie. The all-pervading beige that is Nico. The living shade of off-white.

:(

I'd have to go Nozza for Rookie of the Year. Albon is performing about as well as his his car should allow. Russell has had a poor drive to showcase his talents and I don't think out-racing Kubica is a huge sign of excellence.
